Dissapointing food, awesome outdoor space - Edit
I really really wanted to love this restaurant because the outdoor space is amazing. It's almost like your in a tree house, nice views, string lights, rad music, etc. Order and pickup food at the window style.
Read moreBut...there was a vegetarian section, which included a lot of items which had rice cooked in chicken stock...soooo not vegetarian. I don't understand why you would include non vegetarian rice in the vegetarian dishes section, but I'm glad it was noted on the menu. Nothing was marked vegan and it wasn't clearly stated what the ingredients actually were in the dishes. It listed tempeh wrap, burger, burrito, etc, without listing what was in each one.
I would have loved to see the ingredients listed and vegan items clearly marked as vegan.
I asked if the tempeh wrap was vegan, and she said she thinks so, except maybe not the bbq, so she would do it without the bbq. It would be nice if the staff was a little more knowledgeable about what was vegan, because it would've been nice to have a definitive answer.
When I got it it was just a wrap full of not super flavorful tempeh, grilled onions and peppers, and one little piece of potato. It was really greasy and didn't taste great and got old after a few bites.
I'm not a picky person and wanted to like it but I really didnt.
I'd go back again and try something different, simply because I really like the outdoor space.
Pros: outdoor space, veg options
Cons: food wasn't very good, staff unclear on vegan items, menu unclear on vegan items

Nasty help and disrespectful towards vegans - Edit
This place is like a hut with a counter and outdoor benches- not my idea of a restaurant but I didn’t care because I was so hungry. I waited on line for awhile as the counter lady was super nice and explained how their credit card processing worked to the person in front of me. As soon as it was my turn, I mentioned I was vegan and wanted to confirm my options. They had many veg- friendly items but they weren’t labeled vegan so I was confirming the bean patty didn’t have milk etc.. After she said she doesn’t know the ingredients in ANYTHING she said “What will happen if you eat it?” MY JAW DROPPED. She said “Will I have to call 911?” I said “Are you questioning my dietary choices?” And she said yes and started arguing with me. THE GALL OF THAT WOMAN IS DISGUSTING. I have been vegan for over 7 years and never had an employee at a restaurant question my food choices. I just left because she clearly wasn’t interested in serving me anything.
