tasty food with colorfull decor - Edit
First from the street the place is really attractive ! really reall full of charm.
Read moremenu offers many options.
we had an hamburger with homemade crips and some enchilladas con soy with salsa verde.
the burger was really tasty and really large portion. probably homemade bun.
the enchilladas were missing a bit taste but ut s suppose to be a veggie dish with cheese and cream , so as i ask to have it vegan, that s propably why it was missing a little something.
i also took a cactus smoothie which was delicious !
really staff and fantastic decorated place
Pros: food , staff , vegan mexican food

Nice idea... - Edit
...but if only the vegan tamale wasn't as dry and crumbly as a pasty. And the filling was so anonymous I had to open it up for evidence it was there. It's all a nice idea, just a little scuffed.

Cons: food not great, street hawkers interrupting constantly.

Just OK - Edit
We had the vegan tamales which were pretty average. We also got some vegan muffins which were better. They had mulled wine which was lovely on a cold night. There weren't actually that many vegan options.

Dis-gust-ing - Edit
I hate reviewing a plce that offers vegan options poorly, but this place serves food that is just not edible quality. I have tried a handful of times and am always disappointed.
Read moreThe last time I went there I ordered a garden salad. The description showed no indication of meat. I specifically asked for no dairy because sometimes it sneaks in on salads. When it was served to me there was a huge pile of tuna on top of the lettuce.
I complained, but ended up paying for the thing because I was met with a lot of resistance. Fortunately my dog was sitting with me and I fed it to her.
Evidently, they have vegan muffins and such that are decent. I have never tried them.
Pros: outdoor seating
Cons: hidden meat, poor quality food

Heeeaps of veg*n options, but the food was average - Edit
Tbh, I prefer the enchiladas verdes on the street - it wasn't flavourful enough, but maybe I should've added some of the salsa roja - but the portions were huge and the place was really cute - also there are heaps of other things on the menu that I haven't tried! It is a bit expensive though.

colourful, tipical, delicious, and friendly - Edit
Even from 7:00 a.m very good breakfast! Delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes. Freshly prepared. The best juice combinations of the city! Organic Cafe of an indigenous cooperation. Colourful clean place in the middle of the car free historic center. Inside and outside tables. In the evening sometimes live music. Very friendly native staff. Cheap prices.

Get the carrot cakes! - Edit
It's a tiny place near the end of the walking street with live acoustic music some nights and with really loud speakers you can hear 3 blocks away. Service was pleasant but they made a couple mistakes and forget requests. Off day perhaps. The food was OK. The salad was very large and veg soup was good, but the highlight was the dessert menu and the house made carrot cakes (w or w/o nuts)!

Cons: Few tables, Music is too loud

good variety of vegetarian and vegan options - Edit
Nice little place at the corner with vegan muffin, vegan tamales and other dishes that can easily be made vegetarian. There's also a selection of juices. Nice and friendly staff.
