Fresh sushi with many vegan options! - Edit
I stopped by Tomo while running around Philadelphia on a long layover. What a great surprise! I ordered extra because I knew my international flight wouldn’t have much to offer and I was so happy I did. Not just so I could be fed but because it was SO good! I ordered two avocado rolls and two Harvest rolls. The avocado rolls were of course pretty standard but still very fresh. The Harvest roll was such a treat! I never have had sweet potatoes on sushi but it totally works. If you are local or visiting, definitely had Tomo to your list of stops. There were a lot of fun vegan rolls available that I would have liked to try!

Can’t rate this 5 stars since it serves meat but honestly this was the best vegan sushi. So many options! I asked for their recommendation and ended up with a green dragon and harvest rolls. Lovely!
Read moreHeads up the miso isn’t vegan but they are very knowledgeable about all their ingredients and happy to advise. We went at 3pm on a Saturday and every table was full and reservations were required. The place is very small, (around 6 2- person tables and 2-3 4- person tables) so make sure to make a reservation!

Best ramen I've ever had. - Edit
Everything about the Vegan Yasai Ramen that I had when I was here was amazing. Noodles had great flavor, vegan broth was great and the teriyaki and mushrooms were legit quality mushrooms. Worth noting I got it To-go as I didn't bring close for the more upscale environment on my trip and everything was thoughtfully packaged with broth and noods separate.

Love everything here. The sushi is so experimental, but everything works. I love the one with fake eel as well as the one with guac! I also lovvvvve the poke bowl. I never liked fish before I was vegan, so if you’re afraid this will be too fishy, dont worry, its not.

This is the first vegan sushi I’ve had since going vegan except for basic avocado rolls. They have lots of vegan options and an amazing vegan restaurant week deal. I’ve been vegan in philadelphia for a while now and this is certainly the best sushi I’ve had since moving here. My non-vegan friends thoroughly enjoyed the vegan options as well.

I had the vegan pokè bowl lunch special, which comes with a choice of miso soup or salad. The soup is not vegan. The salad was a nice size and very fresh. The pokè bowl was delicious and the perfect size. It has sushi rice, seaweed salad, shiitake mushrooms, pickled veggies, avocado, crispy onion bits, and most importantly, some magical spicy tomato “tuna.” They have some very interesting sounding vegan rolls on the menu, as well as vegan ramen!

This was a great find! Lots of clearly marked vegan options including multiple sushi rolls that were much more inventive than the typical avocado/vegetable roll options. There are non-sushi options too, including a vegan poké bill that was creative and tasty.
