This place has a HUGE selection of vegan options - lasagne, two pastis, gazpacho, dessert, a crab cake burger.. *and* on Wednesdays all of their vegan options are 20% off! Definitely recommend checking them out.

This is a UK pub which just recently revamped their menu, now including multiple vegan options including shepherd’s pie, lentil eggplant Parmesan, and pasta. They also advertise a vegan Wednesday on their board (have yet to try), which the staff says they serve whatever is in season.

I’d give it a 3.5. I got the ‘vegan crab’ burger. It was good just not any different to a veggie burger. There are lots of options. But it was slow so luckily we weren’t in a rush.

A really good list of options all clearly marked as vegan. We had the vegan crab cake burgers which were tasty (although not anything like crab) - highly recommend adding the vegan mozzarella as it was amazing!

The restaurant got my attention with their Vegan Wednesdays board that I could see from the street (it was Wednesday). I didn't order the special, as the menu was full of other delicious vegan options. I went with the Shepherds Pie, since I love walnut meat. It didn't disappoint. The vegan chili was delicious too. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious vegan food options.

There is a whole vegan section in the menu, and also many marked vegan items in the full menu. Had the vegan Mac and cheese (amazing). Also had a half salad, and the portion was pretty big, so that’s something to know when ordering. Order at counter and seat yourself casual vibe, friendly staff, indoor and outdoor seating. Can’t wait to go back and try more food.

A fabulous find with vegan and non vegan fair for everyone in your party. They serve British style eats with an excellent pasty menu with sketching for everyone. Beer and wine menu with some great choices. Vegan vindaloo pasty, stuffed portobello and chocolate mousse are top notch.

Aww, I really wanted to love this place but it was just really underwhelming. The beer was flat and warm, the vegan Mac and Cheese was exactly the right creaminess for me but totally lacked a cheesy taste and was too salty to compensate. Based on the reviews I was looking forward to much better, maybe we just hit an off day?

Best Vegan Food on the Peninsula - Edit
My favorite place for vegan food on the Peninsula. Their lentil lasagna are fire! You can see they make everything from scratch. I could smell the basil pesto before it arrived. The soups are also absolutely outstanding. They have vegan Wednesdays where they have a vegan special and they always have a vegan option when they have a special for a holiday. If you ever see the crabcake Benedict ... Get it! It's SO good. They also offer a vegan desert (chocolate cheesecake with almond whipped cream). I think the price are very reasonable given the quality of the food.

The Lentil Lasagna is phenomenal. I savored every bite. My husband had the Falafel Flatbread and said it was great. We also shared a vindaloo pasty - it was wonderful! The pasty crust was soft but with crispy edges. For dessert, we devoured a slice of chocolate cheesecake. Wow!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We will be back for more vegan delights soon.

Had the vegan shepherds pie pasty. Wasn’t too impressed. The inside was rather flavorless and the dough was really dry and bland. Luckily the salt at the table and the sauce made it fairly good. Not bad by any means. Just wish it had a little more flavor. But there are plenty of other options that sounded and looked good as well!
