The vegan flatbread pizza blew my mind. My partner really liked his pot pie but I found it a bit cumin-heavy. They also have a great selection of local brews.

Good Vegan Eats in small town - Edit
For such a small kitchen these folks really make amazing delicious interesting vegan dishes. The pasties travel well so get one to go for later. I want to eat my way through this menu! This time I had the vegan crab-cake sandwich with a side of slaw. It was light and flavorful, not soggy or overpowering at all. And then I had the vegan mushroom stroganoff and the Shepard's Pie pasty. I liked the coconutty mushroom cream sauce.

I got the vegan mac and cheese and the vegan shepherd's pie. I thought they were both super good! My fave was the mac and cheese. There were many options that looked good, so it was hard to order! I got it to go and ate at the nearby beachfront area and it was a good experience.

The guy at the counter recommended the vegan crab cake burger, so I got that (amazing!). But it was hard to order since I saw at least 6 different vegan options at a glance!

It’s rare as a vegan to have this many options at a non Vegan restaurant- I think they have 15 advertised!! I had the mushroom stroganoff which was very good! A must stop if you are in the area regardless of your food preferences!

I tried the vegan shepherds pie pasty and the vegan mac and cheese. The shepherds pie pasty was 6/10 for me, but mostly because I'm not a huge fan of cumin and I felt like the cumin was unexpected and stood out in this dish. But the potatoes and crust were great, the portion was huge and with the brown sauce the cumin became much less intense and overall I enjoyed it!

We tried the vegan flatbread pizza and the vegan crab cake burger. Both were excellent, though the pizza was a bit better. The pizza is also very messy, so be prepared. Better than average vegan cheese on the pizza.

This is a UK pub which just recently revamped their menu, now including multiple vegan options including shepherd’s pie, lentil eggplant Parmesan, and pasta. They also advertise a vegan Wednesday on their board (have yet to try), which the staff says they serve whatever is in season.

I’d give it a 3.5. I got the ‘vegan crab’ burger. It was good just not any different to a veggie burger. There are lots of options. But it was slow so luckily we weren’t in a rush.

A really good list of options all clearly marked as vegan. We had the vegan crab cake burgers which were tasty (although not anything like crab) - highly recommend adding the vegan mozzarella as it was amazing!

The restaurant got my attention with their Vegan Wednesdays board that I could see from the street (it was Wednesday). I didn't order the special, as the menu was full of other delicious vegan options. I went with the Shepherds Pie, since I love walnut meat. It didn't disappoint. The vegan chili was delicious too. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious vegan food options.

There is a whole vegan section in the menu, and also many marked vegan items in the full menu. Had the vegan Mac and cheese (amazing). Also had a half salad, and the portion was pretty big, so that’s something to know when ordering. Order at counter and seat yourself casual vibe, friendly staff, indoor and outdoor seating. Can’t wait to go back and try more food.

A fabulous find with vegan and non vegan fair for everyone in your party. They serve British style eats with an excellent pasty menu with sketching for everyone. Beer and wine menu with some great choices. Vegan vindaloo pasty, stuffed portobello and chocolate mousse are top notch.
