I had the medio menu del dĂa which is not cheap at âŹ16.90 but the food was great - lentils with smoked peppers and sweet potato cubes. Delicious! For dessert I had the pear confit with cardamom, also really good. Staff was very friendly and efficient.

I'm not sure why the other reviews said there weren't a lot of vegetarian options. This place is almost completely vegetarian. And not just that, the food was amazing! You could tell it was homemade, and made with love.

Mala experiencia vegana - Edit
Al entrar preguntamos si tenĂan carta vegana ya que habĂamos visto en HappyCow que asĂ era, y nos confirmaron que sĂ, que toda una carta de las que tenĂan era 100% vegana. Al pedir los platos que querĂamos, vimos que tenĂan queso y que en algĂșn plato se indicaba que era vegetariano, cosa que nos extrañó. Al volver a preguntar otra persona diferente a la que nos atendiĂł en primer lugar nos dijo que sĂ, que llevaba queso no vegano, por lo que nos quedamos con 3 opciones para comer. Tras esto, al pedir los burritos que nos habĂan confirmado que eran veganos, encontrĂ© que llevaban mayonesa, y tras todos estos problemas, preguntĂ© si era vegana porque ya no me fiaba. La primera persona que nos habĂa atendido y habĂa asegurado que todo era vegano, fue a la cocina a preguntar y pasĂł varias veces por nuestra mesa sin darnos una respuesta, hasta que tuvimos que volver a preguntarle y muy segura nos volviĂł a decir que todo era vegano 100%, cosa que no creĂmos ya que otra compañera nos habĂa confirmado que no. Fue una experiencia bastante desagradable, nos tuvieron bastante tiempo esperando y con informaciĂłn cruzada y sin confirmar, cada una nos decĂa una cosa. AdemĂĄs, lo poco que pudimos comer no era de muy buena calidad, my escaso y carĂsimo. Recomiendo a la gente vegana que no vaya, el resto de la carta la desconocemos.

When we got there the waitress said the only vegan option they have is nachos with guacamole. I asked if they could make just a bean burrito. âNoâ was her answer. I asked if they could veganize any of their other dishes. âNachos with guacamoleâ was her only answer.

El sitio nos sorprendiĂł positivamente con su decoraciĂłn, mĂșsica y ambiente. Llegamos para la noche mexicana y veganizaron nuestros burritos: estaban sĂșper ricos! Pedimos tb una ensalada muy sabrosa! Las quesadillas se convirtieron en unas crĂȘpes de verduras con diferentes salsas.

We came on a day that had a special Mexican menu. They had vegan options, including vegan "meat" for all dishes. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. The food was delicious for both vegans and omnivores.

Estuve 4 dias de vacaciones en Cuenca y comĂ allĂ 3 de ellos. Tienen un menĂș diario de unos 10 platos a elegir 2. Al menos 4 de ellos eran veganos o se podĂan adaptar. La comida estĂĄ riquĂsima y el personal es muy amable. Por lo que pude ver, creo que es la mejor opciĂłn para veganos en la ciudad. TambiĂ©n tienen desayunos y brunch.

Some vegetarian options, almost no vegan ones. But the staff was really friendly and I got a customised vegan menu, which wasn't anything out of this world but it satisfied my hunger. Salmorejo soup, salad with a peach dressing and some quinoa - brown rice mixture, that was maybe a bit too oily.But still,I was really pleased that they bothered to make me something.

So while I knew that this place was only "veg-friendly"... The service was unusual for Spain, as they were rushing me out the door, and the bread was stale. No vegan dessert options available, and the restaurant is too far out from the city center for me to ever recommend this place to anyone. The food was okay, but nothing spectacular or even noteworthy. You could probably get mushrooms, salad, peppers, gazpacho, etc. at any bar in the "casco viejo". Maybe I caught them on an off day, but I still wouldn't go back.
