Thai Food Gem in downtown Ft. Collins

Beautiful setting, fast service, conveniently located next to a parking garage, delicious Thai food! Pad See Yew was the bomb, and they adjusted the spring tools with tofu. Very happy with my meal and the experience.

Pros: Lots of vegetarian options, Fast and friendly service , Convenient location

Cons: None

Underwhelming

I got the pad se ew. Waitress wasn't very knowledgeable about vegan. Flavor wasn't the best.

Delicious Vegan Options, Large Portions!

Ordered the edamame as well as mango coconut fried rice and drunken noodle (a suggestion from the person taking my order). They prepared the dishes vegan-style, and all was fantastic! Portions were generous and leftovers delicious. Will be back to try more from the menu!

Is it really vegan, though?

Its probably not vegan even though you asked for the vegan option, expressed that you don't want oyster or fish sauce nor egg. The wait staff even nodded their head energetically to demonstrate their recognition of your wishes. Most likely the "vegan" word written on the food order is half followed because the cooks don't consider what is in the brown sauces (its oyster and fish sauce). In fact, I went there a couple time when it first opened at they asked for my opinion and sought feedback. But they never labeled the food as vegan or indicated they understood. They *probably* never took the time to go through the recipes to develop alternative sauces or ingredients. I think they mean well, but its probably not vegan. Why not go to a place that indicates what is?

TaRarine on west Elizabeth has made a vegan menu. RamaMama has a statement about vegan options on their menu. Also when you press Bejing noodle about what is vegan, they pass. Young's vietnamese does too but then they cook the tofu on a grill covered in meat. I'm just saying be careful and if a restaurant cares enough to clearly indicate what is vegan then they can be trusted.

Tom Kha is okay, it's on the smaller side and is very oily but their patio is lovely in the summer.

If you're in old town and you want Asian style food, you're SOL. Go to illegal pete's or take a long walk

Pros: It's in old town, Patio is nice, Friendly staff

Cons: No indication that food is vegan, Quite oily , Pretty small portions especially for the price

Excellent!

Lots of vegan options at this place! It’s not clear from looking at the menu, but we asked the server, who was very helpful pointing out how almost everything could be made vegan. We got several different dishes and they were all seriously delicious. And since this place is on the corner of Laporte and Mason, the parking structure is right there, so parking is not a problem. Highly recommend.

Pros: Great good, Lots of vegan dishes, Easy parking.

Cons: If only everything were vegan!

So many delicious vegan offerings!

What a charming little place nestled just off the main streets of Fort Collins Old Town, Tom Kha is a little Asian gem for vegetarians and vegans! Our waiter was very patient and assured us our orders could be prepared entirely vegan.

We began our order with sweet potato fries and an some edamame, then followed with the Pad See U, the Stir Fry Udon, and the Khao Soi Thai. All of the dishes were outstanding but the real stand out was the Stir Fry Udon. The flavors were so delicate and perfectly balanced, with plenty of veggies and tofu mixed into the scrumptious noodles!

Pros: Knowledgable staff, Delicious food, Convenient parking

Cons: No vegan labeling
