Great vegan options

We arrived at Tom and Tina's Tea Room after a ridiculously long trek across the moors post wild swim at Sharrah Pool.

We came after seeing their offered vegan cream teas and thought this would be a perfect lunch. When we finally made it through the doors we were welcomed by friendly staff and enthusiasm for their expanding vegan menu.

They were out of clotted cream which wad a shame, but we had the scones with jam and vegan butter anyway and they were still delicious. There were several vegan cakes in the counter at the till, and a number of options on the daily board. There is often a vegan special or options they can make vegan on request such as their jacket potato fillings.

There was also a rather tempting vegan sausage sandwich which came with mayo, black pepper and fried onions.

The owners also said they were looking to add more vegan options and had no idea they were coming up as a recommended place for vegans to eat.

Pros: Excellent scones, Expanding vegan menu

Cons: Ran out of clotted cream
