A flavorful vegan meal - Edit
This was our last night at Coronado Springs and we wanted to go out for a nice meal. I saw that Toledo had a lot of vegan options, plus we're from the Toledo, Ohio area so thought that was cool!
Read moreThe service was really slow and we were there for two hours. We did make reservations and sat down just a few minutes late. The restaurant has beautiful decor, but it isn't arranged well to take advantage of the lake views.
I ordered two appetizers to share - the olives and the pan con tomate. They were both delicious. They didn't have a vegan friendly salad, although I think they might have made me something if I'd asked.
They have one vegan entrée-
Mezcla de Verduras
Gigante Bean Silk, Seasonal Garden Vegetables, Patatas Bravas, and Carrot Romesco (Plant-based)
I ordered this and a side of Brussels sprouts. I should have asked, but the entrée had mushrooms (disgusting) which I pushed to the side. The rest of the veggies were good with a little bit of smoky flavor. I thought the sprouts were too salty and only ate a few. The waitress noticed and took these off the check without my asking.
There was even a vegan chocolate ganache dessert, which I really enjoyed.
Overall, we enjoyed our meals and would return. I truly appreciate Disney restaurants being so vegan friendly.
