Updated from my initial review. I visited again and this time the service was good, the food very tasty and I would come again if they had an outdoor table available or outside peak hours - it’s a little too noisy for me - or try one of their other locations.

My friend and I were really disappointed. Service was really bad, the tables are really close and you end up hearing more of the conversations from the next table than yours.
You have the table for 90 minutes and will be rushed out.
they overcharged us (only by £1.50 but still) because the waitress couldn’t divide the total amount by 2 and kept ignoring the correct amount i gave her.

The food was nice but the unusual dishes I wanted to try were not available. So we had tofu in black bean sauce and a potato, aubergine and pepper dish which were nice but not spectacular (quite oily too). We ordered some plain rice to go with them and were presented with probably the smallest portion i’ve been served to date. Good for avoiding food waste though.
We also had some dumplings for starters, those were really good, and salt and pepper fried tofu-had better elsewhere.
I’m actually quite easy going and initially wasn’t even annoyed when they asked us to move to another table so they could sit another party where we were, but all in all I just didn’t feel welcome here at all, the food wasn’t extraordinary and we were charged the wrong amount. I’d rather spend my money elsewhere.

Hi sfio, I find this review very harsh that too for a Vegan business. It's struggling times for restaurant industry and as customers we should be considerate too. As an Ambassador you should also speak to the business manager. I hope you contacted them and provided the feedback directly to give them an opportunity to improve.
Read moreAlso understand that the staff are mostly Chinese so there is a cultural difference to what you might be used too and shouldn't be taken personally. I found them very friendly and kind.
I love Asian and Chinese food and this is the 1st Vegan Chinese and the best I have been too. I am Ambassador for Cardiff.

Hello. As you can see from my other reviews, I honestly am not harsh but in this case I stand with my review. It’s just one of many and so people can make up their own mind but I cannot recommend it based on my own experience. I’m not sure how to take your comment on this being a vegan restaurant. I considered that in my rating but there are multiple other vegan restaurants in London that I could whole heartedly recommend.

This is quite possibly the best vegan food I have ever had. Lots of tofu choices and some without as well. But absolutely amazing: the dry fried green beans are to die for, as are the noodles. We also had stir fry tofu and chick’n, wontons, and a sticky tofu dish. Couldn’t fault any of it and the service is amazing!

A must visit in London - Edit
We visited yesterday and it was honestly one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to! Everything we ordered was incredible. The wontons were hands down the best I’ve ever had, the tofu in the house special sauce was packed with flavour, and the stir-fried vegetables were perfectly cooked and so fresh. We finished with the brownie for dessert, and it was delicious too!

Always try to visit when I’m in London, the food here is incredible and the staff are always fantastic. Fully vegan Chinese serving dumplings, wontons, curries, noodles, bao buns, mock fish, rolls, and much more! Staff are always happy to help and suggest dishes so be sure to ask!

This was the first tofu vegan i went to several years ago and it remains fantastic. So much choice. Portions very decent. Lovely atmosphere (and really busy for a Wednesday night). And importantly really delicious food.

I ordered a takeaway from them, it came promptly and still hot - the food delicious, the menu choices VAST and genuinely I feel I could order everything on that menu. Suffice to say I will order or go there at some point!

Second time in one of these restaurants, but today we tried the one in Islington. Woah! Everything is so delicious. The wontons are really the best. We also tried some buns (the filling tasted like fish!), fried rice, noodles, tofu with different sauces. Everything and anything you can try here is going to be absolutely perfect. I didn't even take pictures!!! 🙊 And the staff is really nice! 100000/10
