Fully vegan Yunan style porridge from green peas is solely on the menu. Closed Fri. Open at 6:30 am. Come early as the porridge runs out before 9:00 am.

Wonderfully unique

Traditional style place run by husband from Yunnan province in China and wife from the Thai hill tribes. There are only 2 dishes available, a hot dish and a cold dish. The couple makes one pot each early morning and shuts down as soon as sold out. 100% vegan, free from MSG. All made from green pea tofu that is made fresh in house daily and some pickled collard greens. Very inexpensive and very fulfilling, but might not be to everyone’s taste. Absolutely no English spoken, but pointing works.

So simplistic yet deliciously satisfying 🤤

My title says it all. Such an intriguing Myanmar 🇲🇲 breakfast cuisine, high in fibre as well as carbs. (Not keto friendly, I know 🥺) It never ceased to entertain me to discover new unique foods around the world when traveling. How interesting this green pea porridge is! Must try this silky smooth yunan green pea porridge! Unlike other grain based porridges, this one has a unique texture, taste & garnishing with fresh parsley, crunchy crushed roasted peanuts, deep fried onion flakes and a bit of soy sauce, chilli, lime, and you are in heaven for a second (or eternity🤩)! So delicious 😋

Pros: So refreshing & unique, So yummy! 😋 Not found any parts of the world, Good price for the value

Cons: Only one menu & served in 2 styles
