Arrived at final hour and customer service was excellent! Tacos tiny, yet packed to the brim. Delish and veggies galore. Joint has taco Tuesdays special. Menu branches out with a variety of vegan selections that can be made. Bright and pacious ambience. Street parking, maybe in rear also.

The diamond in Toluca Lake's hotbed of vegan eateries - Edit
Toluca Lake has about half-a-dozen vegan or vegan-friendly eateries within a radius of a few blocks. Tocaya Organica has an extensive vegan menu and their dishes have just enough kick to make them stand out. Portions are generous so you do leave feeling full. Serving is kind of annoying as they push online ordering even if you're in the restaurant. But the food is superior, especially if you like bold tastes with spicy overtones.
Read moreI'd give Tocaya Organica 10 stars if I could. It's that good. The restaurant is located across the street from Veggie Grill. It has a nondescript sign partially hidden behind a bus stop and some trees. If it wasn't for HappyCow, I might have not even known it was there.

I like that everything is very customizable to serve a vegan palette. Yet they still can cater to your non-vegan friends/family and who knows, maybe they’ll be moved to trying something vegan. The ingredients used make for fantastic flavor and spice.
