Lovely little cafe - Edit
We came through the Shanty Festival, and had good vegan breakfasts, as well as an evening burger and chips. The owners are friendly and keen to do a good service for vegans. We'll be back

There is a lot to choose from. It was not very impressive. The smoothie isn’t fresh, that was disappointing.

Decent choices - Edit
Vegan & veggie choices are good & the staff is friendly. I wouldn't reccomend the vegan scones, jam & cream as the cream isn't thick, seemed airy, like from a can.

Lots to choose from - Edit
Had the Vegan ploughman's and the vegan tiffin. Had a few items to chose from, nearly had the Vegan cream tea but fancied something savoury. Would love to go back.

Lekkere Cream tea - Edit
De eerste vegan Cream tea die we tegen kwamen langs het South west coast path. Het was heel goed, echt Engels. Ze hebben een hele vegan menu kaart. Ontbijt, lunch, diner, cake.

Fantastic cafe in a beautiful setting - Edit
Went to Toby Jug Cafe for breakfast, had the big vegan and it was delicious! Enjoyed it such that after exploring Boscastle we went back for vegan cream tea. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Wide variety of options! - Edit
Great choices with a separate vegan menu and knowledgeable staff. I had the tower watch burger, was very filling and the vegan cheese super melty! They also offer a vegan cream tea which I was too full to order but the table next to me ordered one and it looked good! Friendly staff as well :)

Good food, slightly pricey - Edit
Brilliant vegan menu. I ordered a vegan all day breackfast to take away which was lovely and a decent sized portion. The staff were really friendly. It was on the more expensive side for a cafe but I guess that's to be expected with the location it's in.

Visited today. Not disappointed, especially after being given a separated vegan menu. Although the fare was not exactly gourmet, we thought it was tasty and a fair price. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

The only downside, smokers are allowed outside. As someone who suffers with asthma, this is so bad for me!

Very friendly place with an extensive choice for vegans. We had the cream tea - 2 warm scones with jam, whipped cream and a big pot of tea for £5.50.

Excellent - Edit
Just came from this lovely cafe, the staff are super helpful and couldn't ask for more, excellent vegan selection with excellent vegan mayo. It's a shame there isn't one in London. Food wise was outstanding, hash brown in a burger? Yes please

Large vegan menu, great service - Edit
Seating indoors and out and dogs were allowed so that was great. They have a separate vegan nd gluten free menu which is pretty extensive. Photos added. I had the special curry of the day, pean and potato. It was basic but tasty. Son had vegan sausage dinner which was very large and he said the sausages were amazing. I was very tempted by the vegan all day breakfast or the vegan cream tea. Difficult choice and I'm not used to a lot to choose from! I had a vegan smoothie which was lovely. There are quite a few to choose from. Service was very good. All in all a good experience.

You probably don’t realise that by going to the Toby Jug Cafe you are supporting a female Paedophile. Natalie Cummins the owner is a recently convicted sex offender tried by a jury at Truro Crown Court. I speak for the community in saying we don’t want people like this in our village. A young girls life was destroyed through this monster!!!!

Poor choice for vegans! - Edit
This cafe is a very low budget/quality option, the problem being the food quality is of very poor standard. Being a longstanding vegan, I’ve sampled some amazingly creative menus. This place was very simplistic and not in a good way. The menu seems to have been thrown together for ‘one time’ tourists. On top of the boring and uninspiring menu, plus low standard of ingredients, it was dreadfully unclean. All the tables were grubby and my coffee cup hadn’t been washed adequately. The cutlery was also sticky. Yuk! I wouldn’t part with another penny in this place, some lovely and accommodating options nearby! Boo!! Thumbs down from me!!

Lots of choice for vegetarians - Edit
Friendly cafe. The owner is vegetarian hence lots of choice on the menu. There were also some vegan options. I had a vege cooked breakfast and strong coffee to help me along the Coastal Path with my heavy backpack. I was welcomed as a walker and enjoyed my time there.

fast food with multiple vegan dishes - Edit
We were pleasantly surprised to find that this little cafe had a separate vegan & vegetarian menu. (The ice cream shop next door also had labeled vegan flavors, though we didn’t get any.) We tried two vegan offerings: the vegan burger (battered and fried patty made with corn and veggies) & fries (chips), and a sweet potato soup spiced with chili and lime which came with toast and vegan butter. Both were tasty and satisfying. We sat outdoors in the charming Hogsmeade-like village.

Great Little Place - Edit
This place is a refreshing change even from the excellent food served in the three village pubs. The lovely food is made, cooked and served and made there, and they cater everyone, be it vegetarians, vegans or those requiring gluten-free food . It's run by the owners who clearly take pride in providing good service and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. There's an outside area too.
