Traditional Greek small plates - Edit
The menu consists of traditional Greek small plates of which almost all can be made vegan. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Had the potatoes, mushrooms, Greek salad and giouvetsi which were all amazing.

Was pleasantly surprised by this place. Felt authentic, good food, good prices and great service. We tried a number of dishes and all were great. Also appreciated that their drinks were local brands and that most dishes were able to be made vegan.

Great Greek small plates in a relaxed setting - Edit
We visited a couple of times and would recommend. The restaurant serves ‘small’ plates but the portions were generous and great value. The Soutzoukakia (served with or without rice) was our favourite- not something you often see a vegan version of. Also had oven potatoes, dolmadakia, soy kebab and a pasta salad special with kidney beans which were all excellent. Service is relaxed and helpful and you are left to relax with no pressure. Only a couple of non-vegan dishes on the menu where cheese has been used but always safest to check.

Authentic, Greek, vegan - Edit
This was trully a great experience overall. This is a genuine local small restaurant where locals go. We went for all we could: veganized Greek salad, tabbouleh, pastitsio, and soutszoukaki. They were all very, very tasty and filling. The owners/service were very kind to us and went us through the menu and beverages. When I come back to Crete, I go here without hesitation.

The cosy restaurant offers a vegetarian menu with plenty of vegan options. The service was incredibly friendly and made us feel really welcome.
Read moreWe went here on the recommendation of the great reviews here on Happy Cow and I add my praise. It was our last night in Crete, we were looking for a real Greek restaurant and we got more than we hoped for. All the food was very good, prepared with love.
An hour after opening we were the only visitors, it was all the more lovely to see the locals gradually coming together for good food, drink and socialising. The restaurant breathed life and we were very happy to be able to say goodbye to Crete right here - in a restaurant that has heart, surrounded by locals and amazing food.

Often at Greek taverna's you feel out of place as a vegan or vegetarian as only few dishes are (or can be made) vegan. Here you feel like you don't miss out on great Greek food. All the dishes are made with care and love, and this you can taste! Even tho some of the dishes are recreations of non vegan dishes they really hold their own to the original (so also for non-vergetarians and vegans this is really a great spot)! The space is located in a relatively quite alley, but in the evening this space turns the alley in a lively space!
Read moreI've also heard that there is sometimes live music or other fun activities and that their pastitsio is amazing. I haven't had the chance to try it myself but would for sure come back to try it!
The staff is also super friendly!
So all in all a great experience and a perfect addition to the 'vegan scene' in Crete!
Also shoutout to the very cute dogs which were very excited, cute and friendly!

This place should be 5 stars. So sad to see that some people reviewed this place, assuming it is a big company or something. It is a small business running by 2 honest young people that only want to make the living. Be polite and respectful. Compassion looks better on everybody.

All dishes we tried were delicious! Feta dishes could be substituted with vegan feta. Many great options. The vibe is chill and very nice. Prices are also very good. I‘d go back if I were in Iraklio again 😊

Davvero super buono un loro piatto tradizionale con bocconcini di soia e peperoni. Eccezionali anche le bruschette con pomodoro e vegan cheese e sempre irrinunciabile fava. Il tutto a 20 euro!! Li adoro! Ci hanno anche omaggiato di una arancia caramellata e la grappa!!
