Some items where hit and miss with me. I've been here a lot and have tried several. For me personally I prefer the sandwiches over the burgers. Have tried their entrees. Cakes are to die for. I hate the fries. Their drinks are good but too expensive and not big enough,

Delicious spring rolls with generous amounts of super fresh Ingredients. Check the specials before ordering; they are listed on a paper at the walk up counter. I might have tried one of those had I noticed them earlier. We ate on the lovely outdoor patio with big umbrellas for shade. Everything was super tasty including the Thai iced tea and cream cheese wontons.

The lady at the counter is sooo nice! I love how this place has so many different options, everything from burgers to chow mein and even desserts! Every time I come here, I try something different and I have not been disappointed.
Read moreMy tastes are pretty simple so I love the grilled cheese. However, I definitely recommend the egg rolls, cheesecake and any of the sandwiches. Don't forget your Thai tea!

Cute spot. Was able to order online and my order was ready when I arrived. I tried the Mongolian beef. Good taste, but they used lettuce in place of veggies, which I guess is a cheap option to make the dish look bigger. The lettuce wilted from the heat so that was gross.

New to the vegan lifestyle & wanted to support local business. Decided to give this place a try and so glad we did. I had the TNK burger with sweet potato fries, he had the cashew chicken entree & we got the spring rolls. All of it was so good! We have enough leftover to eat it again too.

We were excited to try this place. It didn't disappoint.
Read more$12.00: Beef paratha: sandwich which was delicious. The sauce and 'beef' with the onions and flakey shell worked really well together.
We got this with sweet potato fries which were delicious.
Thai Tea: Really good, a bit sweet but delicious. We really want to try their Vietnamese coffee
The staff was very friendly and genuine, it was very refreshing.
Overall this was a great place and we would second that it isn't just the best bc it is the only vegan place in Modesto.
It has the Supreme TV playing, so it does have a loving hut vibe.
Parking: we found parking to be a bit of a pain. We drove around a couple of times bc there were a lot of one ways which made it difficult to traverse. We ended up parking in front of the neighboring business (H&R block) via street parking. The street parking was free and not metered. We arrived near opening and had plenty of room to park but I imagine that would change during peak hours.

We drove through from Yosemite on the way to SF and felt like a miracle when we walked into what felt like a Loving Hut in this little town.
Read moreBut even though this is the only vegan place far and wide doesn't mean it wouldn't get 5 stars even in SF downtown. The menu has a huge variety of Western and Asian fast food but also a bunch of smoothie option if you wanna add some raw food. Staff is nice, service fast and everything tastes amazing.

Holy non-cow! I was driving back from Yosemite and planned to go to a nice Mexican in Oakdale I remembered from a prior roadtrip, then saw this green dot in Modesto. Now I wish I came to this corner of California more often! I stood a long time at the counter, having trouble deciding o.o Went for the oft-mentioned cream cheese puffs (the hype is real!), avocado smoothie and the club sandwich (dang that bacon!). Also a respectable selection of cake, which I'm planning to enjoy later since I'm already too full of lovely food ^_^

This has to be the cutest little cafe I’ve ever been to! It’s so warm and inviting, and same goes for the staff. Everyone was friendly and we were taken care of to the fullest. & to top it off, of course, the food is all vegan and SO delicious. I was more than impressed.

I’ve been here several times (I am vegan) with my boyfriend who is not vegan. He’s loved the food every time! My favorite are the cream cheese puffs! I’ve tried probably 1/3 of the menu & it is always fresh, so flavorful and delicious.

I had the Mongolian beef and it was very good. I even had to get up and go ask if it was vegan for reassurance because it was so much like standard Mongolian beef. My non vegan son got the TNK club which he really enjoyed and my non vegan boyfriend also got the Mongolian beef and really liked it. Great food, great service and great atmosphere. Oh, I also got the lemon cheesecake which was amazing. Will return.

I got the lemongrass chicken, and my boyfriend got the BBQ chicken burger with sweet potato fries. It was really good! The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is for little details. For example, the food was served on paper plates with plastic forks, and the water cups were paper too. I would prefer a more sustainable option, and it was also just surprising to see a restaurant not use regular plates and silverware. The food was pretty good though. I would like to see a more diverse menu. A lot of items from different sections seemed like repeats just so slightly modified.

This is a very nice place. Great people and great food! I had the lemon grass chkn with rice, a grilled cheese sandwich & fries and a to go plate for my daughter. The food is very very tasty, fresh and clean.

Read moreI ordered the chik’n and gravy dish with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were cold. The onions they used were purple and had a very strong taste that over powered the entire dish. Minimal (2 pieces of broccoli) vegetables, which surprised me for a vegan restaurant to skimp on the veggies. The “chik’n” was over cooked and lack flavor. Next time I’m hoping I have a better experience by choosing something else. A know several people who enjoy their food.

The food is tasty and a good variety for such a cozy place. Also, a great outdoor sitting arrangement for the summers and the staff and owners are sweet and flexible people who are willing to modify their items to your liking.
Finally, don't forget to try one of their decadent vegan sweets.

I went there for lunch with my husband yesterday and I had the steak sandwich and Vietnamese coffee, and he had the BBQ chickn sandwich. Everything tasted amazing, and portion sizes were large and what I consider perfect (since I had slept in and skipped breakfast, I had quite an appetite).
Read moreMy steak sandwich was very hearty, with lettuce, tomato, mayo, onions, cheese, and steak with sautéed onions on a burger-type of bun. It was a little bit messy to eat because there was so much food in the sandwich, but it was worth the effort. My Vietnamese coffee was just the way I remember it tasting, since this was the first time I have had Vietnamese coffee since being vegan. My husband’s sandwich was really tasty, too, and not as messy to eat as mine. It had alfalfa sprouts on it, which seems weird for BBQ, but it tastes good like that, so try it! I can’t wait to go back and try even more food, so I probably will go back today since it’s the only vegan restaurant in town.
The restaurant itself has both indoor and outdoor seating, and is clean, inviting, and comfortable. The cafe is on a corner, so you get to see what’s going on around you for some people watching entertainment.

Entirely vegan and super nice and cozy! I brought 4 family members that aren't vegan and they loved their dishes! We ordered some smoothies, their avocado smoothie is a must! As for food we got the steak burger, beef burger, chicken bbq burger, and Mongolian beef entree. It was all very yummy and quick, not a long wait around 3:00pn on a Saturday.
