I was around the area for a work visit and had seen so many good reviews so I went and tried their Vegan Carne Asada and Vegan al Pastor tacos. I had some pretty high expectations, with many people saying these were the best tacos they had tried. I was let down, unfortunately. I will not say that they were not good, they were definitely filling and had flavor. However, they were bland and I have definitely made and had better tacos. I can see how these tacos may be very good for someone that likes blander food or hasn't tried any other options, but they were not the best in my opinion. The staff was extremely friendly, however, so I would love to support them again if they have other options available! I also had an Agua de Jamaica, which I did really enjoy because it was not too sweet!

The food here is fresh and the customer service is excellent. There are plenty of vegan options. We love that the rice and beans are also vegan. (So many restaurants use chicken broth in the rice, but this restaurant does not.)

Best vegan tacos - Edit
The vegan tacos are probably the best I've had! I order the simple version with just onion, cilantro and lime. Their vegan meats are excellent in flavor. I hope they expand and create a spot in Schaumburg😄

$4 tacos with vegan asada or pastor comes with all the toppings you want (50 cents extra for guac). All very generous and filling. Staff were friendly and took their time to share about their vegan options. Food takes a little more time to come out than other fast casual restaurants, and you can taste the difference. Tortilla chips tasted homemade - tasted good plain and also with their flavorful hot sauces. Food gave me energy to take on the rest of the afternoon!
