Yum! Tasty Vegan Burger in Takasaki

Located not too far from Takasaki Station, TIN'z Burger Market offers vegan and non-vegan burgers in a casual, diner-style American restaurant setting. The restaurant interior is cute and warm and decorated with various pieces of art from local artists along the walls. The owner is very friendly, speaks English, understands the differences between vegan, vegetarian, etc. and is very willing to arrange burger toppings/substitutions to suit the customer's needs.

The vegan burger is very tasty and has a slightly tangy, Japanese-flavor because of the miso-based sauce that they use. The soy patty is a little soft and doesn't have the same texture as traditional soy-meat, but tastes great with the sauce and veggie toppings!

While TIN'z serves meat, dairy, and eggs - it's also the only restaurant in Takasaki (as of Feb. 2020) that has a 100% vegan burger option. For vegan/vegetarians in the area craving a vegan burger or visitors passing through the area, I really recommend trying it out!
