Really tried to like it

It’s not easy finding much vegan options in new braunfels. I’ve always heard great things about tin top burgers so when I had a craving I thought I would give it a whirl. The first time I ordered a beyond burger is was very bland and over salted. The fries were soggy. I wasn’t pleased. Thought maybe it was a busy or off day, so when I went back for a second try I experienced the same problem. I don’t bother going anymore. #Veganuary

Pros: Glad there’s a vegan option

Cons: Too salty - hardly any flavor , Fries always soggy

And whether our vegan burger was too bland or too salty, we certainly apologize as that is also not the norm. We have a lot of repeat vegan/vegetarian customers that come in often for that burger. Great family option

Nice to go somewhere where my family (non-vegans) can eat their burger and chicken strips (kids menu) - while I ate vegan burger. Great fries my son couldn’t stop talking about.

Pros: Vegan burger option

Cons: Just one burger option

Great option for vegans

The vegan burger here is great. Beyond beef patty with lettuce, cucumber, tomato, onion, vegan mayo and guacamole. You can add vegan cheese for $1, however it is shreds not sliced so it’s not worth the extra charge IMO. Burger is super tasty as well as fries!
