YUMM !!

I ordered a mushroom pizza with vegan cheese and some extra garlic oil, it was delicious ! I loved it. I thought I had lost the joy of eating pizza when turning vegan because I loved melted cheese but I found my happiness with it again ! The staff was really nice. Only thing I didn’t like is that when I asked for oil they didn’t say that it costs extra. Also both vegan cheese and gluten free options cost $2,5 extra.

Pros: Delicious pizza, Finally creamy cheese

Cons: Expensive

Vegan Pizza + Waldorf Salad

We tried two of the three vegan options available at lunch time - Vegan Pizza and Waldorf salad (and they also have a chickpea and kumara curry which we didn't try).

For the vegan pizza, we had half and half of mushroom and vegetable. It came with vegan cheese. We ordered it on a gluten free base (my partner has gluten allergy). The toppings were ok, though they did forget the tomato paste (this was confirmed by the staff, and they did give us a 5% discount on the entire meal which was nice). The GF base seemed store-bought (dry and chewy). Maybe the pizza would have been better if it's their regular base, can't really say.

Waldorf salad was also ok.

Staff was friendly, helpful and knows about dietary requirements.

Pros: 3 vegan meal options

No vegan options, staff don't know what vegan is

Really dissapointed with this place. Nice for a beer, but food is a big thumbs down. They state specifically on their website they cater for vegans and before we sat down they said they can do vegan pizza. Upon ordering, they said actually no, we can't do pizza, but we can do pasta... 10 mins later waiter comes back and says actually no pasta, you can have pizza without cheese. This is not vegan food, especially after they say they are happy to host vegans. Save yourself 24$ and buy hummus and crackers from the corner store!

Pros: nothing

Cons: No vegan options, no idea what vegan is!! expensiv

cozy restaurant friendly service

Great location big fire and rustic setting. Off peak when we fined so only pizzas being served waiter was very helpful and accomodating vegan options by request made a vegan pizza which would have been great if they had vegan cheese without any it was still tasty. Vegetarian options on the menu.

The Vegan Burger

We were heading to the supermarket to try and find some vegan food and thought we would just have a look at the menu on the off chance there would be something we could eat, and lo and behold they had a Vegan burger! It was a really tasty spicy bean burger loaded with salad and they had a special offer of a burger, chunky chips (that were delicious) and a drink for $18. After a long day of hiking we were very happy!
