Serves meat, vegan options available. Ethiopian restaurant with vegan choices. Menu includes vegan injera that can be ordered with extra vegetable options. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-11:00pm.
Although the ethiopian vegan options are limited, they're still very tasy. They take away from the main meal by adding in a beet and potato dish which doesn't mesh all too well with the other food. Looking at older photos of their food, their portion sizes have decreased significantly, although it's still filling. Despite the veggie sampler being a sharing meal, it's enough to feed one hungry vegan.
Quite pricey considering how cheap the ingredients are, but very good considering the size of the meal.
The last 3 times I went, we waited over an hour for our food.
They also say they can make their vegetarian options vegan, but others haven't noticed a difference in taste or texture (which one would expect if the ethiopian butter is excluded).
We got the veggie sampler, extra kik alacha wat, and all spices tea. All was good but the tea was particularly generous and for some reason the food wasn’t served on the traditional big platter.

Staff can also be extremely unfriendly at times.
