Serves meat, vegan options available. Lodge restaurant offering a couple vegan dinner options on its dinner menu. Breakfast items are non-vegan and would require alterations. Open Mon-Sun 5:30pm-9:00pm.
Overall it felt like a luxury to have food options available at all meals- I had packed to feed myself on this trip and didn’t have to once!! A heartfelt thank you to the Timberline for being conscious of vegan guests and making the stay that much more enjoyable!
To help set expectations:
Cascade Dining Room: Has limited vegan options but the menu is clearly labeled, and offers a vegan item (or customizable to be vegan) for just about every section of the menu; it was nice to not get stuck eating off the starters menu! Server was excellent and helpful with offering options not on the menu to our vegan party. We started with a summer beet & tomato salad, and our main was a grilled cauliflower steak. The finishing touch on our meal was a summer cheesecake with fresh figs- the texture of the cheesecake was to die for. Breakfast offered a chia pudding with fruit & cacao nibs, nothing out of this world but filling & tasty.
Ram’s Head Bar: fewer options but still was able to get a starter (beet & onion rolls) and mains (impossible quinoa burger & chopped summer salad- the salad did not have enough greens and was mostly raw cauliflower). Great vibe and a fun place to spend time, the NA honey ginger spritzer was phenomenal!
The Blue Ox Bar/Pizza has vegan mozzarella, and we added a ton of veggies. The rest of the restaurants don't seem to have a ton of options, but I'd recommend the pizza

Happy I brought enzymes. Super upset stomach after dining in.
Made a reservation for dinner at Cascade Dining in the lodge. They brought out the menu with vegan, veg, df, and gf options.
I ordered the dedicated vegan option.
It’s a fancy meal. I was brought an amuse-bouche made with goat cheese; skipped it. The next complimentary item was an egg based popover; skipped that too. The 3rd item was a palette cleanser. Like a mini berry smoothie with balsamic and pine. Confirmed vegan.
That was tasty.
Then the meal came. Wild rice, broiled carrots and chickpeas in curry powder and some sprigs of green. Meh.
I dined with 8 vegetarians, they all liked the complementary starters.
Perhaps the chef has yet to explore delicious veg options.
