Another HC rec and win! Vegan menu insert with several vegan dishes (1 item vegetarian, but not vegan, the tofu mandu dumpling soup, not as clearly marked unless you read dishes description).
Read moreThe sides (complementary) brought to table are simple and very flavorful. Veggies with 2 dipping sauces with enough heat to tantalize but not terrorize you, and a spinach, kimchee, and pickled vegetable tray. Kimchee was outstanding favorite.
We each got a noodle dish, both very good, the bokkum my favorite of the two. Noodle texture more to my preference than the glass noodles in the japchae.
Service was friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back.

Read moreWe came here for a 9 person birthday dinner during a busy Saturday night without reservations. Staff did their best to get us in, and we ended up leaving to come back later in the evening. I am so glad we did! The service was so personable, and I can't wait to try more of the vegan menu!

I live in Portland and this is the best Korean food I’ve had. And everything is clearly marked Vegan or Vegetarian, so no guesswork is involved. I highly recommend the vegan dumpling soup! The staff and owners are extremely welcoming, the place feels like an institution already!

They have a full dedicated vegan menu and everything I have tried on it is 10/10. Some of the best vegan food I have had in the United States. A place this good is rare to come by. The vibe and super friendly staff are just the cherry on top. Just go here. I can’t possibly see how you’d be disappointed by this place.
