An Oasis for Vegetarians! - Edit
After visiting Quito for several days, Tena was our next stop. What a delicious and refreshing treat after several days of disappointing meals. Apparently vegetarian and vegan food is just not a thing in Ecuador, so by the time we found this place , we were so appreciative to have a menu of delicious and varied veggie choices! The food was delicious and fresh, the little restaurant was clean and enjoyable, and our lady who waited on us and cooked the food was lovely. We arrived off hours, and they were out of a lot of the items on the menu, but everyone in my party was able to find something they enjoyed, even the meat eaters. Muchos Gracias, Tienda Ahimsa!!

Cons: Slow service, but is is Ecuador!

Delicious Vegetarian Fare! - Edit
Just had an awesome lunch at this little find in Tena - so cheap too it came with soup and postre. The ladies were lovely and ended up buying some coconut oil from their range of natural and organic products. They have computers on one side too so it was a perfect atmosphere to get some internet time. Thanks alot will definitely be coming back! reccomond the Vege Lasagne!

Wow... the best veggie food in south america! - Edit
Great little vege cafe with the most delicious lunch I've had so far in South america, healthy as well. Nice area of town, near the river and sweet people!
