Cheap buffet

Was already quite busy when we went for breakfast at 8:30am. Not exactly sure how the pricing works for the buffet, they dished us up rice and then we pointed out 2 dishes each. Would’ve gone a 3rd dish but they didn’t seem keen to do that and there was a language barrier. We were charged 45 baht a plate anyways, so very cheap. Though others seem to have gotten 3 dishes with rice for 50 baht, so who knows?

We had larb, a tofu veggie stir fry, yellow curry with potatoes, and crispy sweet & sour chick’n. All decent but the sweet & sour was definitely my favourite, could’ve eaten a whole plate of just that. We were still a little hungry so got some spring rolls to take away (15 baht for 3) which weren’t nice, the pastry tasted stale and the filling was all glass noodles with little to no veg.

Pros: quick & cheap meal, authentic local place, not the tastiest food but fine for the price

Cons: stale spring rolls, unclear pricing system for buffet

Delicious & authentic veg restaurant

The taste to cost ratio of this place is amazing.
Dishes cost 50 to 80 THB, and everything we had was simply awesome. (The Panang Curry was soon good)
We were too late to grab meals from the buffet, but the cook to order menu is extensive and affordable.
It's a whole in the wall type of place, which is often the best spot to eat incredibly well at a low cost. Full of local patrons.
Authentic local dishes with veggies, tofu, or mock meat.
Highly recommended if you're in the area. We'll be back to try out more stuff shortly!
👩‍🍳 👌
PS: Be careful, this place closes shop at 2pm.

Pros: Tasty authentic dishes, Very affordable, cheap even, Buffet and cook to order extensive menu

Cons: Fan only so it can get hot, Closes at 2 pm (google said 3 bit it was 2)

One hit one miss

Went for lunch. Agree - come here early
When I went around 1 nearly everything was already sold out.
You can order at the window and just point
Rice plus 3 dishes was 65 for (no idea if that’s good or tourist price tbh)
The curry was not much left. The stir fry tofu greens wasn’t good. Chicken drumstick was insanely good. Depends what you get I think. Ordering from menu possible. Then they’ll cook freshly and it’s between 50-70thb

Pros: Many options , Friendly

Cons: Come early or sold out , No English , Depends on the dish

Loved it!

Tien Sin is my favourite vegan place. The Tofu is heaven on earth. Perfect for people who love spicy Thai food. Paid 110 Baht for 2 meals.

Pros: Authentic and local, Spicy, Great Tofu

Cons: Short opening times

Maybe next time

I wanted to like this very basic, local restaurant but perhaps visiting at the tail end of lunch hour and while still on jetlag and traumatised by airport food, didn't help. Not much of an explanation about the dishes. The braised tofu sauce scaled more towards the bland and gloopy. Thai basil tofu scramble with toasted rice was too gritty for my liking and lacked brightness. I believe they also sell soup upon request and will definitely return for that

Pros: Small & local , Fairly priced

Cons: Could be more enthusiastic , My choices lacked character

The food is good, but I don’t like to be overcharged

Been there a few times as it was close to my hotel. Food was good, but they overcharged me every time which made it quite pricy for what you get. I don’t like that behavior and wouldn’t recommend this place.

Cheap and Tasty

If you're looking for cheap and tasty, this is the place. I paid 67 bhat for a large plate of food and an extra side. Would definetly go back

Pros: All vegan

Average, wouldn't go back

Buffet style canteen with a few simple vegetarian dishes served over rice. We paid 50 baht each for a generous portion of rice and three sides. The food was underwhelming, with one particular dish being unidentifiable and hard to stomach. However, the food might have been better fresh out of the kitchen earlier in the day as we arrived after lunch hour.

Great value buffet

Excellent buffet, including dishes with mock meats. 50 baht for three choices on rice. Very tasty, most dishes average Thai level spicy. Seating available and fans on the ceiling.

Near The State Tower

We live IN the state tower so this place is right out of our back door. I'm especially grateful for this place as it has encouraged my children to develop a deep love and respect for Vegan and Vegetarian food. Thai people eat here. It's cheap and delicious. My Thai Issan wife really likes the Larb and it's great to have them eat food that they love knowing that it's good for them.

Pros: Cheap, delicious

Cons: They can run out of their most popular dishes., Earlier is better

Cheap but good

Very impressive food for a cheap buffet-style place. Only 60 baht for rice with 3 curries and a spring roll. Drinks start from 5 baht. They have food to order too. I’m definitely coming again.

Good basic food, good price

I would give this place 4 cows. Three cows for the good basic food and one cow because the price is so low. I got there about 1 in the afternoon and most of the food was gone already. I just pointed what I wanted and the total came to 45 Baht with no drink. The meal came with rice in the middle and 3 other items. If you are looking for a budget meal this is a good place to go.

Nice & affordable food

The variety of food here is great. Ordered 2 plates of kway teow (for my friend & me) and 3 spring rolls. They were delicious!!! Meal portion was perfect. All for 100 Thai baht.

However, it is not easily seen from the main street.

Pros: Delicious food , Affordable price , Meal portion

Cons: Not easily seen from the main street

Delicious, simple fare

My friend and I absolutely loved this place for a cheap, easy, delicious breakfast. Staff do not speak English well but are warm and friendly. Hearty breakfasts for two were only 102 baht. Lots of mock meat options (which I loooooove).

Pros: Open early , Cheap eats , Friendly service

Cons: No A/C

really nice food

They are open from 7am-2pm, go there earlier as they get busy and sell out everything in the afternoon! Just go to buffet, order what seems to please your eye, it will be around 50 bhat and enjoy! Yummy!

Pros: they also have a menu, juices and mock meets to bu

Cons: wish they would be open for dinner too

Quaint and tasty

From the outside it doesn't seem much but the food is excellent and the staff are super friendly.
When visited I had the spicy noodle salad and the protein beans, both very tasty and spicy. Would recommend and will definitely visit again.

Pros: Made fresh to order, Cheap, Friendly staff

Cons: limited covers; not ideal for large groups, could be too quaint for some

simple Thai vegan buffet

I couldn't eat this type of vegan food every day as I'm not sure it's the healthiest but it is indeed very, very tasty and Tien Sin offers a decent version of this typical vegan Thai buffet

There wasn't as much choice a So hoped but the 3 dishes I selected were good especially the spicy eggplant curry

I also bought some (cooked) vegan sausages to take away and plan to make sausage sandwiches for my flight tmrw :)

There are a few vegan mock meats you can buy (uncooked) so I stocked up on some shredded meat ...

All in all pretty decent and I would return....

Pros: cheap, tasty and friendly service

Cons: not as many options as other vegan buffets

Good food, big portions

I had rice & two sides and a sausage for 60 Baht (without sausage it would have been 40). It was nothing fancy, but really tasty. FINALLY a place that serves decent portions, not like most Asian places where you end up being only slightly less hungry than when you arrived. Got variety of non-spicy dishes. Also sell dry goods like salty veggie fish.
Make sure to come by before lunch as there are few options by then. I usually eat breakfast there and bring a container to grab takeway for lunch later.

Pros: Big portions- hallelujah!, Tasty, Easy to find

Cons: Not many options after 11:30,, Staff speaks little English
