They put dairy butter next to potato so it melts! Violative to vegans! - Edit
They put two packets of DAIRY BUTTER directly next to the potato in the takeaway box! They started to melt due to the heat of the potato. So I had to try to eat around the pool of butter! So nasty! Why would they put them in the takeaway box directly next to the food and not in the bag? Also I never asked for butter anyway!
Read moreMany of their clientele are fully vegan, so you'd think they'd at least ask if you want dairy butter anyway! The smell got on my hands, and they didn't give me any napkins, so all I had was a thin tissue I already had to try and clean it off! Also, I had to blow my nose, and it was my last tissue. So I had to use it which got the disgusting butter smell in my nose! Also they didn't give packets of salt and pepper which you'd think are standard for jacket potatoes!

Pros: non dairy butter part of the potato I could eat, Fast service, Chickpea salad fresh and nice
Cons: Put dairy butter next to vegan food, and it melted, No menu on their website! Why!, No napkins given

Really nice place to chill - Edit
The queue was realllllly long and I guess I looked like I was with the stranger ahead of me because they nearly didnt take my order, and then when they did they gave me the wrong thing (something with cheese in it). Because the line was so long and they were so busy, I then didnt feel able to tell them they got it wrong so I just had to eat around it/share it with my partner. But it was still a nice place to relax and not that expensive really either.

Nice cafe in a great location - Edit
This cafe had a good range of vegetarian and vegan options from light bites to more substantial fare, with everything clearly marked. It's also in a lovely spot near the river!

Came here for lunch ordered the Vegan Falafel plate which was nice. Really great location by the river and a decent selection of vegan things. The food wasn’t anything to write home about but was nice and fairly priced and the location is great so worth a visit

Lots of vegan options and great river views - Edit
I had a very nice sweet potato and apricot tart. My partner had a samosa which I didn’t rate so much. It was lacking much seasoning or flavor. The sausage roll was better and quite good. The vegan falafel plate looked lovely and my brother in law was impressed. The views are lovely as is the shade. There’s lots of cake options. It would be nice if the labels on the cakes could clearly identify which are vegan rather than just the menu overhead. I also had a miso soup which I wouldn’t recommend from a box.

Nice vegan cakes in lovely setting - Edit
I came here for breakfast this morning and although there weren’t all that many vegan breakfast options there was an excellent apple cake which was very tasty! Such a beautiful spot by the water too.

Relaxed riverside cafe with lots of vegan choice - Edit
The cafe is located next to Richmond Bridge and you can grab a seat outside and enjoy the Thames. There’s lots of vegan choice and it wasn’t too busy when we visited on a Monday lunch time but gets busy at the weekend. We had the vegan samosa and sausage roll which were both delicious but the best part was the raspberry and pistachio cake - so good! Prices are a little on the high side but what isn’t these days!

Lovely but not all vegan - Edit
We stopped by for a light lunch before walking along the river. The cakes looked so good that we added some to our order. Many vegan options - but not 100% plant based. The café is self service - meaning you order at the bar and grab a tray with your order to carry to a table.

Delicious treats by the Thames - Edit
We had two desserts and two drinks, apple almond pie, lemon poppy seeds cake, mocha and iced latte. Both desserts were delicious, soft, light, and not too sweet. The drinks were average. Outdoor seating area was very nice underneath big trees with the view of the river. The only downside is there was a very long queue regardless of many staff behind the counter. This seems to be usual and definitely needs a better management. Bring your patience and calmness when visiting!

Cute but expensive veggie café - Edit
Lovely location by the River Thames. Has a separate plant-based menu. Has a range of items that are clearly marked gluten free as well. Limited seating inside next to people queuing for service. Prices very much for Richmond strolling crowd.

My favourite coffee and cake place in Richmond if you can get in. Usually has a massive queue but I totally get why. They have a great range of vegan options, but it is definitely more on the expensive side though.

Not anymore :( - Edit
I used to love the Tide Tables vegan chickpea curry, its seriously full of flavour! However it comes with yoghurt and naan bread, which is fine as I usually ask them to remove this and they give me £2 discount (Even so £6.50 for a simple bowl of chickpea curry no veg is pretty steep!)
Read moreHowever the last two times ive been I think it must be new management, they refuse to give me a discount in a pretty rude way, the chickpea curry wasnt as tasty as it used to be, and they dont have the same options as before.
Sad as it used to be so lovely to sit by the river for lunch!

Poor quality food, ignorant and disorganised staff and a bit untidy - Edit
We went here around 12:30 on Nov12. The staff didn't know they had a vegan menu, and they were struggling to organise themselves even if was an quiet afternoon. The food was very simple and didn't taste much (harissa flat bread and falafel plate). The café has magic location and potential. Just make sure you train your staff or replace them, and review the menu.
