Thank goodness for Tibits - Edit
A very welcome addition to the scant number of places to eat vegan food in Zug.
Read moreTibits is a chain of vegetarian restaurants that in recent years has adapted most dishes to be vegan. There is no à la carte offering, except for the Cordon Vert in the evening. The restaurant has a self-service buffet and the food is priced by weight.
As other reviewers have stated, the buffet is smaller than in some cities, but is adequate for a tasty and varied lunch, as long as you don't go every day - then it can get a bit repetitive.
Tibits is also open for breakfast (bircher muesli, bread, vegan cheeses, fruit) and has three types of vegan croissant available - all delicious and a lot more moist and tasty than some "normal" croissants in local bakeries.

Finally Tibits in Zug!! They have lovely staff, the buffet is a bit smaller than some other locations, but definitely yummy 😋 Bonus: to uphold the tradition of the old Bären Restaurant, they also serve a fantastic vegan Cordon Vert plate with roasted veggies and fries - highly recommend!

Gute TooGoodToGo Option - Edit
Wir haben zwei vegane Portionen bei TooGoodToGo gekauft. Die Verpackung war in einem reCIRCLE Behälter (10CHF die man bei der Rückgabe wieder erhält). Die Essensportion war für den Preis super. Die Kombination an Gerichten hat nicht ganz so gepasst. Aber teils hat es echt super geschmeckt, anderes war nicht unser Fall, aber für jemanden anderen bestimmt auch lecker. Die Abholung war super schnell und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Hundefreundlich sind sie auch, durften ihn mit rein nehmen. Der Mango Kuchen war auch sehr lecker!

Very good buffet, 80-90% vegan. Beautiful building - Edit
When I got there 10 out of 12 main dishes were marked vegan. The ratio is similar for the salads. All of those in the well known Tibits quality. And you get to eat in a beautiful old building which has been thoroughly renovated.
