At Lucerne main train station, a pop-up buffet restaurant by Tibits fro July til Dec 19, 2014 only (then it shuts). Pay by weight. Sunday is vegan day.
Our first stop in Switzerland and looking for Vegan options. Luckily another restaurant suggested Tibits Pop Up(main train station). They had me at the first sign we saw as we walked up- Vegan Day! The self serve cafeteria style, easy signage(GF, V, etc.) and the knowledgeable and helpful staff made this one of the most memorable experiences in Switzerland! Food is tasty, pricing is fair, options for take away or eat there. This location was not as busy and the others we visited later. Hope it becomes a permanent location.
Very nice food, lots of vegan options but I am not sure whether everything is organic, local and fair-trade. I would love to see more transparency.
Sometimes you have to wait very long to pay your food because it is so crowded so that the warm dishes turns cold already.
Nice employees, very friendly and most of the guest aren't. At some days the restaurant has a kind of mass processing character which not fits in vegetarian restaurant.
