CLOSED: Tianxinyuan

I've been there ,but is is CLOSED!!!

This is a fine restaurant with luxurious decorations and furniture, with a very clear theme of Tibetan buddhism. The menu is very developed with a lot of dishes in a price range from 5 yuan (one dish) up to about 130 yuan for one dish. Most dishes was about 18 yuan to 60 yuan though. There are no alcohol sold nor any onion in the dishes, due to the buddhistic theme. The food was quite hot but had a very good composition, I can especially recommend the fake duck liver.
The restaurant was not very hard to find and I forgot to ask about the address. I know the closest Walmart (中汇商业中心沃尔玛) is only a few hundred meters away on Beijing lu (北京路). I also think that the address mentioned in the restaurant description above is somewhat wrong so don't bother showing it to any taxidriver. Call them instead and give the phone to the taxi driver, or if you can speak Chinese fairly well then talk to them by yourself.

Very Buddhist-oriented big restaurant. Many tables with comfortable chairs and sofas. Very big menu with a lot of choices. I went once and the dishes I tried were very good. Especially the soup. Be careful with spicy dishes, tell them you don't want spicy.
It's a good place to go with some friends, with family, a couple... Very nice in general. The staff are great.
