Disappointing - Edit
Initially it was an exciting find because they had a whole separate veggie menu. Other reviews say that it could be veganized but that was quite a task. The brioche bun is not vegan nor the garlic toast. Both come with almost every dish. The pasta also isn’t veganizable we were told. We turned it around and got a lettuce wrap, removed the cheese and could replace some of the items but overall you‘re loosing out on energy and probably also money going through this process. The server and also the kitchen did try their best and was quite humorous throughout the process but at one point it got a little overbearing. I wouldn’t return here as not one single dish on the veggie dish is definitely vegan (maybe the teriyaki dish but then also not a definite) and veganizing something is quite a hassle. It‘s a safe bet for vegetarians but definitely not for vegans.

Sorry to be the one to say, but this place had no actual vegan options. They do have a vegetarian menu, but things must be removed in order to make them vegan. Note: THE BRIOCHE BUN FOR BURGERS IN NOT VEGAN ❌
Read moreWe did have a server who was willing to ask the kitchen staff many questions and we were able to switch the bread on anything for a Leticia wrap, remove cheeses and swap for more veggies, but that’s about the extent of what they can do. We were told all pastas can’t be veganized, so it just came down to the salads, burgers, and sandwiches. The price is high and the food is meh, but when there aren’t any other options around, I would say try your luck here. It is certainly better than nothing, but be sure to double check. We found our food to be quite bland, but the kitchen provided us with some extra seasonings upon request. We were lucky they were not busy at the time we arrived.

Ask for the vegetarian menu when you are greeted. A few vegan options with impossible or gardein if you remove dairy products. Food was served relatively fast and tasted good.

I dined at Thunderbird Restaurant, an American eatery that also offered a vegan option. I opted for the Impossible Burger, and it was delicious. They have a separate vegetarian menu with several vegan options. The service was decent, although not exceptional. The only downside was the long 50-minute wait to be seated, as we hadn't made a reservation. It was a bit surprising to see patrons openly carrying firearms and knives in the restaurant, which took some getting used to. Most places typically prohibit this, but Thunderbird does not.

Vegan options in old school style diner! - Edit
We love Thunderbird! They offer a vegetarian menu with the ability to make some of those plates vegan. My go-to is the Gardein chik'n sandwich because it's becoming more and more difficult to find the grilled breast type patties that Gardein makes, yet Thunderbird always has it!

Absolutely insane staff. Threatened violence - Edit
Absolutely terrible customer service and psychotic staff threatening violence. Drove 20 minutes as online said they had outside seating and we had our dogs with us. Figured we'd ask if patio was dog friendly and if not, no biggie, we'll get take out. My husband went in to ask and a lady told him there's no take out or outdoor seating. Very rude about it. He came out and told me so I said alrighty we'll get a table, order the food, you eat yours and we'll take the rest to go. He goes back, asked for a table and the same lady said rudely "Oh you're back!" And he said he'll wait for it. She walked into the back about five feet away and started talking crap about him with waitresses so he asked for a manager. Then one of them say "let's just shoot him"!!!!! How insane are these people?! I was so excited to eat here due to their large vegetarian menu but good grief. Stay far away unless you want to be treated like dirt and threatened with violence!

There was also a veggie wrap on the main menu that wasn’t included on the vegetarian menu for some reason. Our server was Lloyd- and he was funny and pleasantly upbeat. I ordered a salad and hubby have a impossible burger that he said was much better than other places he’s had it

Throwback diner with classic Americana feel. Model cars on the walls, license plate declarations, “ho-made” pies. We had an jalapeño impossible burger and a veggie wrap and both were good. Sweet potato fries were a highlight. Separate vegetarian/vegan menu which is stunning given the setting. Not a mask to be seen on any employee or 99% of the clientele.
