Good food - Edit
Cute location. The eatery is really small. There's a table with two chairs inside and one outside.

Incredible! A must visit - Edit
The food was incredible, everything I tried was delicious and the owner was so nice! I got the Bellisimo, my partner got the chicken Parmesan, we also got slices of pizza (one slice veggie pizza and one slice of vegan cheese pizza), and she let us try the lasagna and the tiramisu both of which I will be dreaming about. Everything was made fresh to order right in front of us. If we were in Charleston longer we would’ve eaten there multiple times, thankfully the owner mentioned they ship throughout the US so we may need to take advantage of that! On top of how good the food was, the owner was so welcoming and you can really tell she puts her entire heart into the food!

Very flavorful - Edit
Small but solid menu. We got 2 sandwiches (bagel and the Belissimo) and both were very flavorful. Very small store though , no seating indoors but they had two small tables outside.

Excellent sandwiches - Edit
I found this place on HappyCow and it was my first stop in Charleston. The city has few fully vegan restaurants, but this place would stand out anywhere. We got the lasagna, Bellisimo sandwich, and crispy buffalo sandwich, even my non vegan friends were impressed. Some of the best cashew mozzarella i've had. The lasagna was stand out. The place is small though, with just a couple small tables, so best to pickup and bring to a park. We were accommodated perfectly, moving a couple chairs and table to the front, where we enjoyed the weather. Excellent location, definitely a must try for any vegans visiting Charleston!

Good enough - Edit
I had high expectations. While I give them an “A” for effort, everything was dry: lasagna, sausage on focaccia, crab cake on a bun, Belissimo cutlet, and eggplant on focaccia. I think the issue is that focaccia bread was too thick.

Delectable - Edit
When we arrived, the owner was in the process of closing early (really bad weather), but she insisted we come in and proceeded to offer samples and then take our orders. Everything was delicious, and we enjoyed the special treat of getting to know the owner who prepares EVERYTHING (cheeses, sauces, dressing, doughs, patties, sausages!)from scratch. You do not have to be vegan to love this food! So happy we braved the weather. Charleston is lucky to have this gem in a nutshell.

Teeny tiny shop with very friendly owners. They had me sampling all kinds of tasty dishes when I walked in the door. I ordered the bellísimo sandwich to take for a beach day- portion was huge and their vegan cheese is to die for. Really great!

Unbelievable - Edit
While visiting Charleston, this was my number one wish list place to eat and let me tell you...it did not disappoint! Due to getting into town late in the afternoon on a weekday, we ordered through UberEats and had the food delivered. We had the Caesar salad, Bellisimo, and Crab Cake sandwich. For dessert we got the Cannoli dip. I honestly refer to this as the BEST meal I've ever eaten. Everything is made from scratch and incredible! The next day we ordered again and got the Buffalo chicken sandwich which again was a great choice. I can't wait to go back to Charleston (mind you this is a 600 mile drive) just to eat here!

Wow! - Edit
Wow. If we could give Three Girls on Spring more than five stars we would. We had an outstanding lunch. To begin, the owner was so friendly, outgoing, and inviting. Her homemade food was excellent … actually, beyond excellent. The owner graciously allowed us to sample and we went for the Crispy Eggplant, the Porchetta and Provolone, and the cheesecake. The food kept getting better and better with each bite. If you’re in the Charleston area, you should definitely try this 100% plant based restaurant. You will not be disappointed.
Read moreTo our surprise the owner (along with her daughters) own Three Girls Vegan in Guilford, CT which we’ll visit on our trip through New England. We cannot wait for this visit. We are also already thinking about placing an order for shipment when we’re with family for the holidays.

Does vegan Italian right! 😋 - Edit
We were greeted warmly and given samples of delicious cheesecake. We got the gluten-free lasagna and chickn parm, which were excellent. This sweet, tiny gem in a nice neighborhood was the highlight of our day in Charleston, and we’ll make a beeline for it on future trips! 😋🇮🇹

The best vegan food in Charleston - Edit
Despite its tiny footprint this place offers the most flavorful, filling vegan meals - arguably in all of Charleston! I ordered a vegan Caesar (honestly, to rectify a disappointing vegan Caesar at Basic Kitchen the night before). My husband got the lasagna and holy moly, these portions were big - but everything was so delicious we devoured it all in one sitting.

Excellent - Edit
We actually booked a VRBO based on the location to this restaurant. It did not disappoint. We walked there both days we were there. The owner was so friendly and free samples. My husband is allergic to almonds which is hard being vegan but they accommodated him. The eggplant is amazing - thinly sliced, no skin, melts in your mouth. I asked for a tray of just the cutlets but she only cooks once a week. The sandwich is huge. I ate it open faced. Half on Wed, the other half Thu for breakfast. I did not eat anything else Wed and had their Ceasar salad for lunch Thu. That was excellent also. My husband had the Bellisamo modified and the Porcetta and Broccoli Rabe and loved both.

Worth seeking out - Edit
The delicious aroma of what waits inside will pull you in from the street. I wanted to try everything on the menu, and there were a few sample sauces with chips on the counter to whet your appetite while you peruse the menu. One of the owners (the Mom - what a hoot! I instantly wanted to be friends!) came in and also gave me a sample of their lasagna which was heavenly on a chilly afternoon. I opted for the Bellisimo - a cross between a chicken Parmesan & a caprese sandwich. The cutlet was a sausage flavor/texture fried with a delicate crumb coating. The pesto was fresh and bright, the vegan mozzarella was light and creamy, and the roasted red peppers were a nice sweet accompaniment to the savory filling. The fried dough bread is a pillowy, flaky cloud of indulgence. The portion was very generous and could have made two meals easily, but couldn’t stop myself from eating it all. I purchased a trio of fermented cheeses and a cinnamon roll pastry for later. I was just passing through town and so glad I sought them out - if I ever return to Charleston I will try more lovely items on the menu. They might just be the reason I go back!

Delicious but… - Edit
This place is great! Definitely get the 'Porchetta' and Provolne on Focaccia over the lasagna. The lasagna is good, but the sandwich is great. Sadly, there is no indoor or outdoor seating. If it is Sunday or Monday there are restaurants across the street that are closed where you can sit. Obviously, that isn’t ideal. The inside is very small. A walk in and wait outside place. The portions are huge. Anything could be split between two people.

Overpriced food and bad customer service - Edit
The food wasn’t great last time I went and I would have given them another shot but after reaching out to the owners about the error with my food, the customer service is so unprofessional that I will never return nor would I recommend them. I also know someone who had food catered by them, was missing a tray, and they were so unprofessional in their response. If you say anything was wrong about your order, they will try to make you feel bad by saying that one of the 3 girls are crying and that they either had a call-out or they are training a new crew member.
