Though offering up quite humble fayre, I had no doubt that the food from here would deliver in terms of freshness, flavour and finesse, simply because of the fact that it is located within Timeout Market; a mini Mecca of foodie delights. And you know what? I was right.
Read moreEven the one simplest of dishes, the fattoush, was bursting with freshness and vibrancy, and, simpler still, the fries were perfectly crisp and satisfyingly moreish. Though my most ardent recommendation was a dish that always steals my heart: the tahini cauliflower. This rendition was a fabulous one, the addition of pine nuts, pomegranate seeds and sautéed onions only served to enhance the already excellent charred cauliflower and velvety tahini dressing by adding depth, texture and notes of sweetness.
The final feather in the cap for this outlet was the price. While still not super cheap by usual standards, for the locale, it was somewhat of a bargain.
