We first ate here back in 2019 (see photo). Great location, and little garden out the back to sit in. As we enjoyed the food last time and there isn't an abundance of vegan food in the Albany area we thought we'd check out what's new on the menu these days. Currently there is a Superfood Salad on the menu and also a vegan option on the Thai Beef Salad. We didn't fancy either of those for brunch so we went elsewhere on this occasion. Might give it another go in the future.
A decent selection of vegan options - we tried the focaccia and dips from the lighter bites menu and the pea falafel tacos. There was also a salad, 3 ice cream/sorbet flavours and 2 vegan cakes! Shame there was no room after the savoury!!
We ordered some takeaway food which tasted great but there is room to improve. I had the pelavel, great taste and consistency, small in size and bought tortillas instead of flatbread
We ordered the sweet potato gnocchi and the pea-felafels. Not sure if the gnocci were housemade but overall the sauce and veggies were cooked very nicely and the portion was generous.
The „flatbread“ that came with the pea-felafels were small tortillas with some cherry tomatoes, herbs, hummus, the hot sauce and 4 pea-felafels on top. The felafels tasted amazing but we were just very disappointed with the „flatbread“ and size of the dish.
