Good options!

Nice vegan options! They had a vegan club sandwich which had tempeh in it and was very good. They also had a black bean burger, vegan brownie and vegan carrot cake. The shop had a few vegan cook books and some vegan chocolate too.

Lovely gift shop and cafe

A wet Monday afternoon visit…. Very friendly and we had lovely vegan carrot cake muffins.
Only one option on the main menu was marked vegan but suggest more could be made so? Waitress thought so too but we only popped in for cake. Would try in future.

Gorgeous place

Set in a bit of a weird town (Thornhill) but the place itself is gorgeous. Amazing gift shop, lovely gifts and smells. And the food and service in the cafe was fantastic. Super soup and sandwiches, and vegan cakes. Good sized portions and decent pricing too. Dog friendly too!

Pros: Affordable, Good sized portions , Dog friendly

Cons: Little bit of a wait (but very hot and fresh)

Lovely lunch spot

Lovely little cafe that has a limited menu but still found space to add vegan options. We have the black bean burger and the tempeh, lettuce and tomato. Both were very tasty. We sat outside as we had the dog. Carrot muffins were also vegan

Pros: Friendly , Original vegan options, Not faux meat

Making an effort

This small cafe is in a lovely old building and shares a space with a shop. The menu is small, but it includes a vegan and/or vegetarian option which can be adapted. The first time I visited they had a vegan carrot cake - which was delicious - and the second time I had a bean burger. The burger was also really good; smokey and substantial, served with a selection of salads on the side. The server said it was new on the menu and made a point of asking my opinion about the flavour and consistency to feed back to the kitchen. The coffee is also really good.

Pros: Making a real effort to serve vegan options, Small, Friendly

Cons: A bit pricey, Serves meat
