Serves meat, vegan options available. Cafe with a changing blackboard menu usually offering 3 or 4 vegan items eg. soup, curry, bruschetta. Open Mon-Tue 10:00am-3:00pm, Fri-Sun 10:00am-3:00pm.
Just happened to see it on the highway. The owners are lovely and friendly and the vegan options are great.
I had the Vegan Curry which was absolutely delicious. Also an oat cappuccino which was amazing.
Bought two wood crotchet hooks as well.
The cutest little house to stop in. The only vegan food I found for a very long time (coming from the tarkine loop) absolutely beautiful owners. 100% recommend. Also there are cute friendly doggos 🥰
Beautiful, warm and chill restaurant. The staff is super friendly and the vegan options they offer are full of flavour. I would put 5 stars if I could.
You do need to ask which dishes are vegan but they are more than obliging. I had the felafel wrap, which they substituted vegan mayo in. The felafel was simple, but wholesome and moist, the salad was crisp and tasty, and possibly the lettuces had been picked just after I placed the order.
They also stock a range of local wares, and are in the process of expanding the range of fermented foods they make and stock. The hut alone is worth the visit, recently built from a mix of new and reclaimed timber, and with many elements featuring the work of local crafters.
