Wonderful experience - Edit
Lovely little cafe in a forest by the river. You serve yourself out of pots: veg stew, brown rice, beans, spinach. In a garden with artists’ displays all around. Not too touristy either - when I was there, the only other clients were locals. BTW, it was open on Saturday when I went despite the description in Happy Cow.

Really tasty, authentic food - Edit
I got lunch at the garden today and it was super delicious. The organic food is freshly made and you can eat as much as you want from the buffet. And when you are finished you can pay whatever you think would be appropriate.

Tasty food in peaceful environment - Edit
Cheap and tasty local food in a very peaceful garden, surrounded by local art. I didn't walk around for lack of time but apparently there is a short trail where you can see the stream and the jungle. Friendly staff even though I don't speak any Swahili - definitely recommend!

Highly Recommedable - Edit
It's in the city, but in middle of nature. A peaceful place to get some nice oxigen. The food was good, they served brown rice with vegetable stew, lentils, spinach and natural juice all together for 6'000 tzs. Highly recommendable.

Worth every penny - Edit
Very delicious food — self serve. I had a massive plate of rice, beans, mashed cassava, and plenty of vegetables for 5,000 tzs (approx 2 USD). Location is wonderful as it’s in the middle of a forest and there’s a stream nearby where you can take a stroll. An oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Arusha.

Great vegan food in the middle of a jungle like park. You have no idea that you're in the middle of Arusha while eating here.
