The food is 🔥

I went here for my birthday. I took my mom who eats plant based food occasionally and we both loved it. All their food is delicious.

The owner of this place is the same as the blueberry next door , their working hours here are different than the info on google map , they actually open on Thursday on the day I visit so double check with their schedules before you go then

Worth the trip

My husband and I bought the zucchini pancakes and the fennel hash👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾. Listen it was absolutely delicious and filling. Next time I will get a side of hash to go.

Cool place, great experience

The atmosphere, staff, and food were all outstanding. The indoor dining area is open for seating and is really neat. Great vegan desserts too!

So better

Like the desserts, but decided I’d never get them again as they are overpriced & have gnats flying in the counter they’re stored in smh. Also, again, pricey! $8 for a slice of vegan cake that isn’t even made in house is not the business man.

COVID RULES

Pre COVID this used to be my favorite place my go to spot.. I decided to pay them a visit because I was seriously craving some of their food.. I was so DISAPPOINTED that the workers were not wearing mask correctly (under nose and some under chin) they allow customers to come in without masks. I can take the SLOW SERVICE AND PRICEY MEALS but I can’t take a chance of getting sick because of their lack of following rules. I sure wish they would get it together

Good vibes

Went during COVID for the first time. Unfortunately they were only serving sweets when i went but i did not complain lol. Went over to blueberry for a meal. But i had the brownie, a chocolate chip cookie and a pecan white chocolate i think it was. My sister had a chocolate cupcake and a blueberry donut. We were instantly hooked. Staff was nice and friendly too we had a nice convo before we left.

Pros: Amazing sweets, Amazing people, Good vibes

Great tasting food

First timer here, Had an amazing first time experience. Small little spot with huge flavors and taste. When am feeling lazy and want someone else to make my alkaline meals, this and the spot next door will be my good to places.

Pros: Huge flavors , Great taste and balance , Great customer service

Cons: Minimal seating outside , Limited food quantity , Just a tab expensive, but worth it

Yummy Food !

The food is always delicious, everyone in there is so nice. You can't leave this place without trying their cookies.

Not bad

Is a very nice and ambient restaurant. Everyone's very friendly even the patrons. The food was nice but I think the scrambled chickpeas could have been more moist. My green tea was very bitter.

Pros: Rotating menu, delicious pancakes and godly hash.

Cons: Expensive, no prices, short rotating menu

Food awesome... but barbershop in the same restaurant?

The service was slow but the food was awesome. The major turn off was the barber cutting people’s hair 5 feet away from where everyone eats! Right there at the same time And place where people are eating!

Pros: Good food. Tasty and well presented

Cons: Expensive, No parking, Restaurant and barbershop should not be one!

Slow and overpriced

Zucchini Bar staff are very friendly and kind but the service is extremely slow. The desserts and food are overpriced as well.

Healthy and Delicious

I love their desserts; the banana cream donut, specifically, is mouth watering. The lo-mein made from chickpeas is very tasty and so is the zucchini pizza. Nothing ever tastes too heavy, but yet it is fulfilling and healthy. Love this place!

Newark’s hidden gem

I ate the pizza and the cookies and cream cheesecake. The pizza was very light and refreshing and left room for the decadent cheesecake. This was the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to go back and try the other flavors
