Cafe the high street, always has at least one vegan on the special menu (may be pearl barley broth, curry, or burger) plus a range of menu items such as superfood salads, sandwiches, and sharing platters which can be made vegan - ask. Serves coffee with full range of alternative milks and sometimes a vegan cake or two. Reported closed March 2023.

Love this place. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff are lovely too.

The vegan options are proper complete meals and not a vegetarian or meat based offering with the non-vegan element removed!

Pros: Tasty and reasonably priced food, Good for vegans and those on a gluten free diet, Good and friendly service

Great food! Slow service

Waiting half an hour for two coffees and 50 mins for beans on toast. They were delicious and homemade but took far too long. Even if you know what you want you have to take a seat and wait for the menus then wait for the staff to return to take your order... The time Inbetween is too long during busy periods. Great food and ambience with many vegan options but not a good place if you have limited time.

Pros: Lots of vegan options and milk alternative s, Coffee is decent and fairly priced , Superb location and decor

Cons: Slow service, Table service doesn't work well

Quirky and Cute

A lovely place to enjoy a light vegan lunch with a friend

Nice food, nice atmosphere.

Nice place run by lovely people ! Very very busy but staff handle the rush very well. Food is good, fresh and tasty. It’s a little expensive but leaves you feeling full and satisfied. All prepared using locally sourced ingredients.
A good range of drinks also I always go for the Kent Cider Co Cider as they are vegan owned and run.

Amazing food

Both the food and the staff are lovely. Lots of vegan options, both as mains and light bites. Great atmosphere too, but I would recommend booking a table as it was busy!

lovely place

Lovely quirky little place. Very busy which is a tribute to thier quality. We went on a saturday and were given three vegan food choices which was nice. The roasted vegetable sandwich with cheese was excellent.
