Brilliant food. Just passing through South Shields and stopped at a ‘Spoons. In every section on the menu there is at least one vegan option including the special promotions. Food arrived quickly and was hot. We found - Vegan breakfast, breakfast muffin, fruit, roast veg pizza, chicky nuggies, burger and chips, curries and poppadums, salad and sides, ramen bowl and Korean sticky ‘no’ chicken to choose from. We had burger and chips with a side of onion rings, came with a soft drink for about £8

Decent pub grub - Edit
Always a favourite with the locals, this bar has recently been refurbished into a nice spacious bar with plenty of seating.
Read moreOn the menu, you'll find some decent vegan options such as a beyond burger, a vegan breakfast and the cauliflower, spinach curry to name a few. Staff are friendly and you can't grumble at the prices.
