Great pub meal - Edit
I had a delicious yellow Thai curry which was loaded with vegan chicken. Service was great and there were a decent range of options. I recommend eating here if you are in the area and looking for somewhere to eat with vegan options, it’s probably the best locally!

A bustling local pub, with a little dining room housing 5 tables. The menu is very traditional pub-grub with limited vegan options, but some can be veganised, and the waitress was only too happy to help and walk through options. Oh, and all of the potato options are incredible! Get the chips, you won't regret it!

Attentive chef and tasty food - Edit
A quirky, cosy little inn with a chef who was excited to make me a special vegan meal. There was nothing on the menu that was vegan but he made up a great big plate of different kinds of tasty meze which included delicious roast red pepper and carrot in spicy tomato sauce, sweet grilled tomatoes, juicy marinated portabello mushroom among other things. I didn't have a starter or dessert and I'm not sure what he would have created but the chef did a great job with my vegan main and I appreciated the personal effort to create something delicious.

Great food with and without calling ahead - Edit
Have eaten here on two separate occasions. The first was while walking my dogs and stopped in without calling ahead to check vegan options, and both the soup and the pasta special were vegan. Had the pasta because I'd heard good things about the Italian chef and it was lovely! The second time I went for dinner with my family specifically because they had had good vegan options before. The chef had prepared what he called "vegan surprise" which was a tasting selection of Italian dishes including different pastas, vegetables cooked in lemon and balsamic sauces, and breads, which was also lovely. They also easily accommodated when a vegetarian member of the party didn't fancy anything off of the menu and made her the same rather than having just prepared for one. Also has a lovely atmosphere with friendly pub dogs! Well worth a visit.
