Don't miss Bob the chicken - Edit
Lovely cafe on the South Downs Way, no extra cost for plant milk and lots of vegan cake options. Samosa and mango chuntney was also excellent. The free range chickens are fun to watch if they're about! Opening times also are longer than HappyCow says, it was open til four on a Sunday when we visited

Cute spot and chickens - Edit
A really cute spot in the beautiful South Downs. Great after a hike. All veggie with some vegan options including cakes. Its set in the middle of a courtyard where friendly chicken roam free.

Only stopped here for a coffee but there was a nice selection of vegan cakes and a breakfast/lunch menu. Nice spot, a little hidden away. Coffee prices felt a little steep although understandable due to the location. ☕️
