Staff were great, spoke English which is great for us as we are still grasping French. Burgers were great. Dog friendly. It was a really lovely place, well worth a visit and the price was good too.

I’ve been a vegan for 12 years and I can honestly say this place makes the most delicious burgers I’ve found in all the many countries I’ve travelled!! It’s also the only vegan burger my carnivore husband has said was “better than a meat burger” I had their fabulous cole slaw, so much I took it back to my apartment to finish the next day. Their cider in a bottle was great and my husband enjoyed their beer. We will eat there again before we leave Bordeaux and highly recommend it to all, vegan, vegetarians and carvivores!

Super Delicious Burgers for a great price - Edit
My sister and I enjoyed the restaurant a lot, the burgers were great and came with a large portion of fries so we were definitely satisfied after our meal. Together with a drink we paid just 11€ which we find a really good price. Definitely worth a try!

By far the best place to get your vegan needs fulfilled. They recently "upgraded" their offer and now offer French fries which where lacking before. The burgers are fresh, original and really tasty. Overall an amazing meal.

The Wild Note is THE place to eat vegan burgers in Bordeaux. They have several choices, all very good and generous in size, decent in price. The staff is super friendly and the place is pleasant. Their desserts are also very good. I recommend the menu (a burger, nachos, a drink and a dessert for only 12 euros) and the only thing you can regret is French fries (they do not offer them). A must-go in Bordeaux!

I headed to Wild Note eager to try some vegan fast food and encouraged by positive reviews. I left wondering how anyone can consider this any better than terrible. Let's break it down, going from the worse to the best.
Read moreThe burgers are served with cheesy nachos and coleslaw. The cheesy nachos consist of nachos with a cheesy sauce that has nothing like a cheesy flavor. The sauce tastes like concentrated soup, probably it is made with broth, and has no yeast or anything that would make it cheesy. It is dreadful and it took me a while to figure out what is was supposed to be.
The coleslaw is 99% carrots and 1% cabbage, topped with what looked like soy milk. I guess it was supposed to be mayonaise but it was so runny that it was far from it. Bland and uninteresting.
The burger has a strange and not pleasant flavour. Having made dozens of burger recipes at home, some of them not good, I couldn't identify what made the burger so bad. Worse, it was served with the dreadful cheesy sauce, urgh. It was also topped with an "american sauce", that was slightly less bad than the cheesy sauce. A mess.
For desert, I had a peanut butter and chocolate muffin. It wasn't amazing, but al least it wasn't bad and helped to clear my mouth of the nasty flavours from the meal. Really, the only positive thing I have to say about this meal is that the muffin was surprisingly not bad.
I appreciate the effort of opening a restaurant like this but I got to be honest and ask the cooks to please learn how to cook properly. There are many great recipe books and blogs where one can find recipes that are far better than anything served in this place.

After our road trip from NL to Bordeaux we found this nice gem a little outside the shopping area of Bordeaux. The options are simple but with great taste and for a very attractive price! Employees speak sufficient English and gave nice recommendations for burger and beers. Definitely worth the visit of this cozy and comfortable place with delicious vegan burgers and deserts!

Tasty burgers, tried the falafel and I think the western (I went 2 weeks ago...). Anyway they were really nice, but thought the cheesy sauce with the nachos was strange in taste, but it may have just not been my thing. Otherwise, the place was lovely and cosy, with really friendly staff. Would go again
