Confusing meal times - Edit

We stopped by the Wild Bean, but unfortunately were not able to eat due to the fact that they stop serving food at 3:00pm. There was no indication of this on their site, just the standard hours that stated that they close at 5:00pm. I would have loved to try the food as it all looked delicious! I don't know if they have the same schedule on weekdays as we stopped by on a Saturday. We came from out of town so were unfamiliar with this rule, so for those in the same situation make sure to call ahead and clarify when they will be serving food.

Pros: All vegetarian menu, Several vegan items , Full cafe/ smoothie bar

Cons: Were not clear on their lunch & breakfast times

Nice Coffee Shop / Cafe - Edit

We really enjoyed our visit to the Wild Bean coffee shop. I ordered and devoured a veggie wrap and afterward enjoyed a good cup of decaf coffee. The atmosphere here matches that of this quaint little town.

Pros: Nice Atmosphere, Good vegan options

Amazing. - Edit

The Wild Bean is a one-of-a-kind place in downtown Lewisburg. The food is to die for, and the atmosphere is delightful...
Upon walking into "the bean" as the locals call it, you are hit with an aroma of coffee, (as would be expected), but as you walk towards the back, you start to smell cookies or muffins being baked fresh, right there, and the smell of the panini's and home made soup. The value is fantastic, and service is great! The Wild Bean not only offers Vegetarian and Vegan cuisine, but all organic espresso-based drinks, fresh roasted and ground organic fair-traid coffees, an amazing list of organic and fair-traid teas, (about 30 or so) and fresh, organic fruit smoothies. The Wild Bean works to provide the customer with a wonderful and delicious experience.
If cruelty and pesticide free food isn't enough for you; all of their to-go cups (paper, AND plastic), to go plates, spoons, right down to the straws are biogedradable!!!
Overall the Wild Bean is a gem!!!

Pros: Delicious & Healthy, Super friendly staff, Very good value!

Splendiferous Place - Edit

The Wild Bean has become my breakfast home away from home. The owners and staff are welcoming and accommodating. Food is prepared with care. If you do not see something on the menu that you want, just ask. If they can, they will prepare your request. It is clear they love serving those who want interesting vegetarian meals. For those who are lactose intolerant, they use soy milk. I must limit fats and dairy. Thus the Wild Bean is a haven of culinary delight for me.

Pros: attentive, excellent food, good value

Delicious! - Edit

The Wild Bean is the perfect place to stop in when you have an appetite for organic, vegetarian, and absolutely delicious cuisine. From sandwiches, wraps, and paninis to fresh salads and homemade soups, The Wild Bean offers something for every vegetarian and vegan palate. Not only can you enjoy your lunch in the unique and laid-back atmosphere, but the friendly and helpful staff will make probably any coffee or espresso based drink you'd like. Not into coffee? The Wild Bean has several other selections, including fresh organic fruit smoothies and handmade sodas. For dessert, try a homemade muffin or vegan brownie on your way out. The 'Bean even has music performances weekly, ranging from shows by local bands to listings from well-known musicians. The Wild Bean even offers a great selection of CDs.

The Wild Bean has it all: outstanding food and drink, incredible atmosphere, helpful staff, great entertainment schedule, and convenient location downtown. Stop in. You won't be sorry.
