Nice lunch spot - Edit
This is a nice spot, but get there early because they close at 3pm. They have really good vegan chic salad sandwich and their potato salad is yummy and they also typically have a vegan soup or two. The wait staff is friendly and the food comes out fairly quick. It’s definitely worth checking out if you are in the AV.

Natcheryl's cafe is amazing - Edit
Natcheryl's cafe is the vegan spot in the area. Anything and everything on the menu can be made vegan, at least 40 different entree options.

A must for vegans in AV - Edit
This place is amazing. The store has everything you need as a vegan, and the only place in the AV where you can get this much vegan food. Prepackaged foods from their Natcheryl restaurant (burritos, sandwiches, etc.), baked goods, snacks, frozen foods, all sorts of vegan cheeses, spreads, every variety of plant-based milk, vegan eggs, specialty flours and baking supplies, etc. etc. Everything you could possibly need and imagine. Lots of gluten free options everywhere too. The food at the restaurant is really yummy too, with a few vegan options which are clearly labeled (substitutions are possible to add even more vegan options). I love their Angie burger which comes with their specially-made patty and a vegan peanut sauce. Their soups are great too. Everything I’ve had there was yummy. And their juice bar is amazing! The only negative thing about this place is that it’s a bit pricey... but they do tend to have good specials here and there, and it’s truly worth it. The quality of the products they sell is incredible. This was the first place where I could find vegan essentials like nutritional yeast and chia seeds (luckily they’ve become so popular now that most stores carry them; however, Whole Wheatery was the “pioneer” of health foods in our area). Lots of supplements and natural stuff (cleaning products, etc.). I love, love this place, and it’s nice to be able to shop and eat freely with lots of possibilities. The staff are always super friendly too. I highly recommend this place!

Wow this place is great. - Edit
Reminds me of Whole Foods Co-ops of America - more of a local mom & pops feel, but with the selection the rivals big chain stores.

Grateful. - Edit
As an east coast transplant used to Whole Foods, I was glad to find The Whole Wheatery. Some items are higher than I’m used to, but I understand costs. The only thing that would makes this a five-star experience would be the availability of vegan baked goods.

Vegan products sold here! - Edit
There are a lot of vegan specialty items sold here that are not available anywhere else in the Antelope Valley. Take your time and really comb through the store because the majority of the staff aren't even aware of all of the vegan products that are available for sale. Everything from high end, fairly priced skincare to vegan vitamins, soy candles, as well as several vegan desserts, sauces, meats, and cheeses.

Cafe okay. Store is great. - Edit
In my opinion, the vegan options at the cafe are just "okay". The store is amazing though! Like a mini Whole Foods, they have all the latest packaged and refrigerated vegan specialty food items (vegan cheese, ice cream, frozen pizza, chocolates, ready meals, etc). If you can't find something you are looking for, like that specific brand of coconut water or something, you can always place the order for free with customer service and your package will usually arrive at the store within a couple of days, depending on when you place the order. They get shipments in about twice a week. The only downside to ordering something that they don't always carry is that you will have to buy a case of it. The upside is you get 10% off for ordering a case and you don't have to pay for shipping! I should mention that they also have a great selection of fresh organic produce, bulk food items, raw foods, gluten-free products, and vegan bath & body products, and cosmetics. They sometimes have vegan cupcakes in the dessert case!

Vegan and Veg friendly market and cafe - Edit
This is a health foods store with a juice bar and cafe. They have several vegan and vegetarian options. My favorite is the vegan burger with any of their vegan soups on the side. The vegan patty is awesome! Its unlike any others I've had. The bun is always very fresh. I call it in as a to-go order on my lunch break and its always ready for me. Nice people and good customer service.

Delish! - Edit
Being a vegetarian sometimes makes it difficult to find a great place to eat that is healthy and has some filling vegetarian dishes to offer while being reasonably priced. I was lucky enough to have a very close friend offer to take me out to eat for lunch and being a person that has just moved to the AV I wasn't sure where to eat. Luckily, I work right across the street from the Whole Wheatery so I suggested to try it and I am so happy I did! The service is great and the food even better! I ordered a veggie taco salad and had plenty of hot sauces to choose from. Not only is the food great, they are also a health store as well. The different scents inside the store take your nose on a journey. And there are lots of different items to look at that are so interesting. I would highly recommend anyone to eat here, even if you are not a big health nut or even a vegetarian. There is plenty to eat and plenty things to explore!
