Excellent & Filling

Delicious food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. A long-time stable of the neighborhood.

Simple Bowls

Not a lot of choices, but the basic rice and bean bowl is delicious. Plus, they make it vegan by substituting extra avocado for the sour cream instead of charging extra like many places.

Pros: Friendly service

Cons: Limited choices

A Good One!

This place does one thing, but does it well. It's a tasty vegetarian brown rice, black beans, and veggies bowl, that can be made vegan if you specify. Ask for extra tali sauce, it's worth it! My kids love this place. It's a smallish dining room, but comfortable.

Hearty and Delicious

Visited the Hawthorne location-a small restaurant with just a few tables. My partner and I both had the veganized Whole Bowl, and despite missing cheese and sour cream, the bowls were both full to the brim. The sauce they use is excellent, and the employee gladly squirted a bit more over my dish for free. I will definitely visit again when I need healthy, tasty food. Even our three year old enjoyed the bowls.

Pros: Easy to decide what you want, Super Fast

Cons: No vegan cheese or sour cream

A Complete Meal For $5

I think this place is an excellent place for a simple, tastey, healthy meal. I took a few Whole Bowls to my nutritionist, and she confirmed that the Whole Bowl is a complete meal, and helalthy.

great bowl!

Ask for no dairy ( tahini, cheese and sour cream) and no cilantro if u don't like it hot like me. Was there 4 my bday.

Pros: cheap, fast, good chili

Cons: only one menu item

Cheap and Tasty!

The sauce is the reason why they only have one thing on the menu. Black beans (and maybe kidney, too), brown rice, barley, black olives, sliced avocado and their tasty tahini sauce. YUM!

Pros: good food, healthy, good value
