Lovely service and good food

I stayed in their hotel and had dinner. The dinner was delicious and the owners Audrey and Mark were lovely and I had a great time! I unfortunately didn't take any pictures of the food but I got the Vegetable Dhansak and a Chocolate Caramel Cake which were both delicious!

Unfortunately at the moment they can only take in hotel customers for dinner because they are understaffed. But if you are looking for a hotel, I can definitely recommend it.

Keep driving

They could improve by removing themselves from the 'Hospitality' industry. Worst attitude, I've experienced in a very very long time. Most in hospitable people I've ever seen in the service industry.

Food was poor, beer was OK.
Seriously if you do want to experience this place, let me say now, I told you so.....

Pros: Darts

Cons: Worst customer service , Bought food and reheated, not made from scratch, Close randomly - Stop cooking randomly

Clearly labelled, good food :)

I was excited to read this place had a separate vegan menu but turns out that’s no longer the case. Vegan items are clearly marked on the main menu (including wines) however, with less selection as before. There was a veggie soup starter and 3 mains (curry, burger and pizza) to choose from. No dessert unfortunately. But considering this is a small village it was still good to be able to eat out. Bookings for food are required by telephone. Food was decent and service was fabulous :)

Separate vegan menu for dinner and a full vegan cooked breakfast

Mark, Audrey and their team are the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble and with three vegan starters, mains and a couple of desserts we were spoiled for choice. We were already discussing when we could stay again before we’d even left the car park.
Mark is also a brewer and plans to open a micro brewery in one end of the building. Watch this space!
