Vegans very welcome

I visited the White Lion on Friday night and found so many vegan choices and not just a vegan burger either! Refreshingly innovative choices from what I can only assume is a modern, free thinking, accomplished chef. Sooo tasty and such a pleasure to eat there, the staff were very attentive and professional and they even had vegan vanilla cheesecake and raspberries. Definitely visit here if you are in the area, you will not be disappointed.

characterfull pub with great vegan/vegetarian offerings

The Lion is my parent's local pub, and is renowned for its excellent homemade food. It's also a really nice pub, I believe it was originally a 16th century coach house. The vegetarian menu is varied with a few good vegan options, they even had vegan mayo for my chips and two choices of vegan dessert when I visited most recently. Love it!
