Homemade, fresh & local!

Stopped here as it was the first pub we saw on our car journey. There was limited vegan options but I nabbed the last portion of vegetable tart!
The seasonal greens and seasoned potatoes were lovely but the tart itself was rather disappointing and not what I expected. The pastry was very thin as was the ‘filling’ - not at all substantial.
The only other option was a vegan pizza. However, my sister did have a vegetarian pizza which looked really nice with a proper homemade base!

Pros: Seasonal veg, Friendly staff, Quiet

Cons: Lacks vegan options
