Astounding value for money

The White Hart Community Inn (Tafarn Cymunedol Hydd Gwyn in Welsh) is owned by the community and serves vegetarian/vegan meals on a Monday and Tuesday (and maybe occasionally other days - please check their website). When we were there, we had harissa butterbean stew with roast squash (my partner, being vegetarian, had halloumi), salsa verde and polenta mash. I also had a vegan tart for afters. This all came to an astounding £19 - for two people. I had to demand to be charged more.

Drinks were ordered and paid for separately; I can't remember what my partner had (maybe Peroni), but I had the local Moho pale ale.

Pros: Good, hearty portions, Intelligent fusion, Great beers
