Only Option on Menu Not Available but Made Option

Saw previous review that they had banana blossom fish and chips. Sat down and under "Fish and Chips" there was a vegan alternative available.

Asked for this and the server said this wasn't available but the chef can make a vegan dish. In the end went ahead with the chef making a "Mushroom Pesto Pappadelle" (pesto pasta) and it was really tasty but the portion was very small and they charged £19 for it.

They recently changed management which is likely the cause of this. Not sure if they will add vegan items to the menu in future though.

Friendly family pub

Creative vegan ideas Inc banana blossom fish and chips. A few items clearly marked can be made vegan also. Recommend the creamy mushrooms!
