Serves meat, vegan options available. A traditional country pub with labelled vegan dishes. Includes starters such as garlic mushroom bruschetta, mains such as a vegetable chilli with rice and nachos, spicy bean enchilada with vegan cheese, salad and nachos and a baguette with Greek salad. Desserts include mango and lemon sorbet, brownie Sunday with vanilla ice cream and cheesecake. Has a vegan kids' meal. Open Tue-Fri 12:00-14:00, 18:00-20:30, Sat 12:00-20:30, Sun 12:00-16:00. Closed Mon. Bar is open longer.

Lovely pub with vegan options

I had dinner at The Vine a couple of times. For mains, I tried the spicy bean enchilada with vegan cheese which was very nice, and the vegetable chili with fries instead of rice, which was also lovely. For dessert, I had the vegan brownie Sunday with vanilla ice cream, and a vegan cheesecake with forest fruits, delicious!

I also was invited to a wedding held at The Vine. They made sure there was something for everyone, at the sit-down meal. I had an all-vegan meal where I chose garlic mushroom bruschetta, mushroom and chestnut stew/ pie with mashed sweet potato, kale and gravy, and lemon sorbet with forest fruits. There was also a buffet at the wedding, where the staff made sure there was enough vegan food. We got a plate filled with vegan pizza, baguette with avocado and olives, ‘sausage’ pastries, and chips!

The staff is knowledgeable and they want to help you where they can. On the menu, they have multiple vegan and vegetarian options. There’s a variety of lovely drinks since The Vine is a pub. They have in- and outdoor seating, a playground, a bar, clean toilets, nice staff. Overall a wonderful English Pub, with enough veggie options to have a lovely meal 😊
